Ahh... That may go part way to explaining some things then. I just assumed they changed the story to make it more TV friendly.

Will have to make sure I know how many episodes this season has, so I don't spend a month after it's finished cursing all the torrent sites.

Is anyone else having an issue with pop-ups on TPB?

I've got an ad-blocker thing but recently almost every other click is opening a new page/tab and the URL changes so quickly I can't copy it to put on the ban/block list. It's fucking annoying.

^Yes. On eztv as well. I have adblocker as well. And yes, it's irritating. And it's on every click. Been on for a few days now like this.

I think it may be linked to FB. The pop-ups either dump me in a pop-up ad site, onto FB, or into a Filipino on-line shopping site. Also, my FB stopped working about the same time this shit started...some major compatibility problem between FB and Firefox.

    ^Cheers, will try .org

^^I haven't noticed any link or issues to/with FB. Not sure what the ads are as I close them as soon as they pop up (using Chrome here btw).

Watching "Chance". Not bad. Kind of a shrink/detective spin on "House".

Tried "Eyewitness". Detective story of sorts, but way too gay for me - the first episode was practically gay porn.

Both stoked and sad that the last season of Rectify is starting. Like you Cyrille, I will probably wait for all eight episodes to start before watching.

Best show currently on television IMO

Bangkok also featues in the movie....

Laughable throughout, esp the Bangkok part. There he hands over a stolen credit card for a 20 baht internet session, cops turn up in 5 mins then put him in a VIP suite on his own in clink. Tarty piece turns up and gives him his real passport with no entry stamp in it to exit the country, the forgoing plot is likewise bollocks.

"Black Mirror" is a very, very strange series. Very bleak, occasionally brilliant. Like the first two seasons, I found season 3 to be a mixed bag - one really good, several good, and a couple really slow. The writers have excellent drugs at their disposal. It would probably be a great series to watched stoned out of your mind.

^The episode where the British Prime Minister fucked a pig was broadcast long before it became public knowledge that David Cameron had done something very similar.

In fairness that story had been circulating for years, which is probably where Charlie Brooker got the idea.

The first episode of the Walking Dead this season has got to be the most gruesome thing to ever air in the history of television.

For those who have seen it (without spoilers for those who haven't watched yet of course) what do you think? I found it genuinely disturbing. And that is not common for me...
