S01E01 of a Spin off from the movie Fargo is now up on PB.

Funnily enough, it's called "Fargo".

I've watched the 1st 3 episodes and IMO it's as good as the movie so far. The Coen Brothers are involved and they're keeping it smart. Like 'True Detective' I don't expect it to last too long.

I read somewhere that the Coen Brothers read the first script, said basically 'OK, get on with it, but we're movies people'.

Not certain that's true, of course, but you can't really conclude the 'smartness' is down to the Coen's just because they are credited as executive producers. That term can mean just about anything. There's no reason to assume they have any creative input whatsoever.

I do agree that the series has been very good so far. BBT is excellent, and works really well off...err..the bloke from 'the office'.

Spent a few hours today watching The Worricker Trilogy

yes - very good just do not watch with a non native speaker of english

I also "enjoy"ed shadow line as recommended before

I think I recommended too in one thread, it's a great show, too bad it's so short, only 5 episodes, and Season 2 is nowhere to be seen

The Fall was great, with Gillian Anderson. I recommend it. Hopefully, there will be a second Season.

Devious Maids is back for Season Two, quite amusing.

I'm starting to do a Slaps and starting at the beginning of Breaking Bad. I never watched it because here it was on three different channels and each were putting on different episodes - so i got a bit confused and gave up. Also, watching it in French put me off.

Thanks, good info. I didn't know they were basically uninvolved. Since they throw the brother's names out front in the credits, I assumed they did more than read a script. The writer's and directors sure can copy their style.
