I originally started the book, which is immense, and gave up.. finally got the audiobook and listened to it in the car over a very long period.

Anyhow, as I dont want to double post, ill just let you know I watched a screener of the wolf of wall street. Epic stuff. My fav film of 2014.

Also saw a screener of 12 years as a slave. Another quality film. Both 9/10

People are moaning about the cuts they made to The Wolf of Wall Street so they could show it in the Arab world.

Apparently there are 45 minutes missing and most of the dialogue is cut out as well.

It's actually quite good, but since the opening scene is Leo sniffing coke out of a bird's arse, I can kind of understand why the sensitive souls in this part of the world didn't want to give the faithful any ideas.

The kid's dad did pretty good to stay in character when the biker was about to have his way with him. Close call.
