I hated it except I like Luis Guzmán. Possibly the most cliched film of all times. And a whole lot of those too-fantastic-to-be-true action scenes. Too much car chase as well. And Arnold doesn't look so good but he can sure kick the shit out of guys half his age. Predictable script on steroids 5/10

I am kind of torn on this one. It's certainly not bad, it's just getting daft and you know that because it's got good ratings, it'll get dragged out.

Maybe I'm being over critical, but, it's more where I think it's going to end up rather than where it is now that I'm losing interest.

Purefoy is just being Mark Anthony too.

I thought it was OK. Arnie being a pensioner plays it a little more low key, he wheezes so much I don't think he can get more than one line out at a time, so he comes across a little more laid back, a bit like Sly in Cop Land.

The special effects are a bit more bloodthirsty, a sign of the times; the action scenes were nicely directed if occasionally somewhat absurd; and it was ridden with the sort of cliches you expect from an Arnie movie.

But watch it with a beer and popcorn and don't take it seriously and it's a decent romp with a bit of humour.

    Maybe 6.5/10.

Small Apartments (2012) - IMDb I found it to be very funny and enjoyable.

Don't think it's been mentioned yet. It started 4 days ago. Downloaded it but haven't watched it yet.

EDIT: It would seem it has something to do with Netflix and all 13 episodes were released at the same time.

    The Company You Keep.

Got a cast of all the aging stars of yore, even Julie Christy (although I never did figure out who she was in the flick).

Not that good. Predictable but well acted. 6/10

    Come Early Morning 2006

Has Ashly Judd as a youngish country party girl who almost loses it due to her bad habits. I like her so I liked the film, but it's lo bud and very simple.

Watch episode 14 and you might think the end of the series is coming soon.

I have no idea where it would go with a second series. Completely pointless if you ask me. As for Continium, well second series has just started and no, i'm not watching it. Lost interest after the 1st episode.

Much like that awful Defiance show. Awful garbage.

EDIT* Only one more episode to go of The Following.

taken from Wiki - The first season will consist of 15 episode. On March 4, 2013, the series was renewed for a second season.

Great. Not going to sit around waiting for another year to go past waiting for the useless fukwits at the FBI to catch Carroll and his brainwashed scum.

Some good news i guess. Bates Motel has been renewed for a second season, which is out next year.

"On April 8, 2013, A&E renewed Bates Motel for a second season, following positive reviews and strong ratings. It is set to air in 2014 and filming will begin in the summer of 2013"

I watched the very first episode and thought it good if you believe in fairies. I don't, so I watched no more.

I'm twelve episodes in. It's like a violent version of fucking Narnia at the moment.

Just finished Broadchurch, an 8-part drama about detectives investigating the murder of an 11 year old boy in a sleep seaside village.

Very English and a bit sluggish with a few dead-end sub-plots, but OK if you have an afternoon to while away in rainy season.

Whoa there big man, read carefully before you go jumping down someone's throat.

He clearly said "On the EZTV Torrent".

    Or "on Piratebay".

And why would he have to sign up to either of those to call you a knob?

Indeed. I said it needed to go somewhere and it finally did. One more episode would have wraped it up nicely. Definitely shouldn't have flogged it for another season.

El Gibbon said that was good, but he also said Doc Martin was good, so I tend to ignore him now.

Doc Martin IS good, his persona is a bit like yours, in a constant state of grumpy.

    "Shetland"

    A 2 episodes detective serie.

As a non native English speaker, it was sometimes difficult to understand the dialogues.

The bloke who says 'previously on Hannibal' is the same bloke who says 'previously on Homeland'. Devious fucker's cornered the 'previously on' market.

So I've given Rogue a bit of a chance the pilot (ep 1 & 2) wasn't great but I've seen the next three and it's an enjoyable bit of TV. Not great but not bad either.

A bit like Harryb said about Broadchurch, if you have got an hour to burn here and there it is worth a gander.

Hemlock Grove - It's OK. Watched the first 3. Will watch them as and when I remember.

Lots of OK TV about at the moment but nothing that's really gripping.

Cheers mate. I was going to try Hemlock the other night but didn't bother. I'll give it a go after all.

Bates Motel is plodding along nicely, I'm enjoying that.
