    just watching this
Inside death row with Trevor MaDonald

    From Indiana max prision
I downloaded both parts from kickass torrents
    there's a few links, eg

    http://kat.ph/itv-inside-death-row-w...-t7022025.html
    http://kat.ph/itv-inside-death-row-w...-t7022131.html

I hate Trevor MacDonald , he's Britain's first affirmative action ethnic minority national news reader,
but of course supports the West Indies cricket team ...
I thought he was just the face at the start , but no , the fucker goes inside and does all the interviewing .
He's king at reading auto cue , and in fact always sounds like he is reading , but it works quiet well here, maybe because the American prisoners are surprised to see an ancient black man talking in a plummy Prince Philip accent and open up to him . In fact his accent sounds weird to my British ears and the Americans voices normal .
He struggles often, and when he cannot think of anything to say he just repeats them
    Prisioner :I'm doing 150 years
    Trevor Mcdonald :your're doing a 150 years ?

Still interesting to see inside the prison,
Some of the prisoners have done a good job humanising themselves after thier crimes , but they should have done that before they start killing folk ...

I see episode 2 is on youtube , could just watch that alone

The Art of Russia. Fascinating documentary, maybe as I currently have only a superficial knowledge of Russian history. Certainly whets the appetite to dig deeper.

Oops that link doesn't work anymore.
    Also on torrents.

Here's the 1st of the 3 part docu on Kat. Other 2 there as well.

    Beauty Is Embarrassing

There are different download choices. I went with Ganool.
    beauty is embarrassing

I watched this the other day. It's about an interesting artist named Wayne White. He's worked on a lot of TV puppetry but has done so much more. He actually created a puppet for Peewee Herman's show called Dirty Dog. He did a video for the Smashing Pumpkins and also does paintings. You won't be disappointed with this documentary if you like creative people and art.

He is also famous for paintings like this...

Inside the Gangsters Code S01E01-E02 HDTV x264-KNiFESHARP

    Season 01 , Episode 01 – “18th Street El Salvadaor”
Lou travels to El Salvador, home of the second highest murder rate in the world, to meet the 18th Street, a ruthless, multi-ethnic, transactional criminal organisation engaged in a bloody war with rival gang MS-13.

To find out what motivates the on-going war, Lou realizes he will have to meet their feared and infamous leader, Viejo Lin, and journey to Izalco Prison in Sonsonate, El Salvador, which houses 838 of the country’s most violent 18th Street gang members, including many of its feared inner circle.

    Season 01 , Episode 02 – “The Commandos”
Lou arrives in Manila, capital of the Philippines, to visit Bilibid, the world’s largest prison, and to infiltrate the powerful and much feared Commandos gang.

Street gangs and prison gangs are separate in the Philippines, but one rule is clear: outsider access is forbidden.

Didn't the actor Ross kemp do a similar series on gangs ?
They all must be paying these gangsters .
The governments should send the army in and kill all the gang members and take out the TV crews while they are at it.

I never saw any of Ross's docs mate. In fact ive seen enough docs of the MS -13's to last me a lifetime, but the Philippines episode was rather interesting.

It was almost like behind the scenes of Mel Gibson's "El Gringo" movie. Hard to really believe its a prison.

Anderson Silva Like Water 2011 DVDRip x264-BOV

Scene group BOV released the DVDRip of Anderson Silva Like Water, a documentary movie starring Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo and Junior Dos Santos, directed by Pablo Croce.
The story of Mixed Martital Arts (MMA) champion Anderson Silva over a period of several months as he prepares to defend his title for a record time.

Plot: Anderson Silva is the deadliest man on the planet – The longest-reigning UFC Champion, and the most feared fighter in mixed martial arts.

Like Water offers a unique perspective of the living legend as he trains with fellow fighters Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida, Junior Dos Santos, and Antonio “Minotauro” Nogueira, in preparation for his career defining title defense against challenger, and arch villain Chael Sonnen. Sonnen, a former champion wrestler, has many predicting that he is the one fighter who possesses the skill set required to defeat Silva.

A man of few words, Anderson Silva walks the fine line between cockiness and confidence. A philosopher in spirit, and dedicated family man, Silva’s personality contradicts that of Sonnen’s, who uses trash talk and intimidation to get under his opponents’ skin.

Balancing family and fighting; respect for the sport, and rage for his opponent; Silva’s mind and body will be put to the test, as first-time filmmaker Pablo Croce peels back the layers of an ultimate fighter to reveal the heart of a champion.

Looks like it be ok. IMDB gave it a 7/10

Just watched 'Andersen Silva: Like Water', a doco about and leading up to his fight with Chael Sonnen. Good watch for any MMA fans out there or even casual watchers - the guy is unreal.

[Edit: oops, I suppose this should've really gone in the doco thread. Keep getting them mixed up!]

Ant, are you trying to confuse us? I still get confused between the two threads and question myself when I'm on either one. One great one I watched today on YouTube was actually an episode of Banged Up Abroad called The Son Of Saddam.

It's very disturbing but also intersting how this happened and was allowed to happen. Some good info on his site: Official website of Latif Yahia - TRUTH IS STRANGER THAN FICTION.

I watched King Of Kong on Saturday. It's about the weird and wonderful world of video games. Namely Donkey Kong, the world record holder Billy Mitchell and the challenger Steve Wiebe. Unintentional comedy abounds as Wiebe attempts to topple Mitchell's 25 year old high score.
