Watched "Wrath of the Titans" last night.
All I can say is that the Titanic wrath was fuk all compared to my own by the end of this bollox.
1/10
I was looking for a good trilogy to watch tomorrow as the Fresh Princess has buggered off to Korea with her mates for 5 days and Me & Ninja can watch whatever we want!
So I googled it and at number 27 of the best trilogies list is the Millennium Trillogy.
The 33 Greatest Movie Trilogies | 27. The Millenium Trilogy | Empire | www.empireonline.com
Now I watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo already but I didn't know it was part 1 of 3 and now I'm confused.
How can part one be made in 2011 but parts 2 & 3 were made in 2009?
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo . (Watched already and enjoyed it.) The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) - IMDb
The Girl Who Played with Fire. The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009) - IMDb
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest . The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (2009) - IMDb
I've got them downloading now anyway.
^great films.
The original tgwtgt film was made then and is superior to the 2011 version.Originally Posted by The Fresh Prince

O.k Cheers. I'll hunt out the original.
Edit: Found it. That was quick.

Die Hard 1, 2 and 3.. yipee kyay![]()
Watched three and a half movies on Thai Airways:
-Hugo: Excellent.
-The Descendants: Deeply flawed and hard to give a shit about the characters, not to mention empathize, but makes some interesting points. Wouldn't watch it again.
-Haywire: I can't help but wonder if this isn't the sort of thing that happens when an artsy/high-minded film director- in this case, Soderbergh, previously Mamet with Redbelt- does the trendy thing in Hollywood and takes some MMA classes. Plot makes no sense, all style over substance, heavy on the cliches. Had heard that the fight scenes were more realistic than usual, but they aren't, no more so than the Bourne flicks, possibly less. Dumb.
-Contraband: Laughably stupid, not even good enough as a time-killer on a plane. Watched about half of it before the pilot did me a favor and landed. Just incredibly dumb.

Similarly stuck over the med for most of yesterday, I watched Man on a Ledge. Not at all what I expected, actually ended up being a thriller in the style of The Negotiator, cop trying to prove his innocence, etc., not bad 6.5/10.

Haywire,
quite good, and done quite right, scenes were quite realistic, something about how the sound was put together with the fighting scenes, looks like you were there and you can feel the pains
plot is predictable, knew who was the bad guy and the traitor within 10 min
25th Hour
Pretty good Spike Lee flic, with Edward Norton, Barry Pepper, and hottie Rosario Dawson.
Its worth a watch just see her, but its actually one of Spike's better flics I think

^It is, plus, and this can't be overemphasized, it has a lot of shots of Rosario Dawson.
Fuck you Monty Brogan.
