here you go;
I managed to find a fairly average copy on some obscure site.
So I'll watch it tonight and review it later.

Saw Jack Reacher 2 yesterday in sf cinema. Tom cruise doing his rambo stuff again. Not bad...
A reasonable scripted spoiled by poor acting, poor direction and low production quality.
Another book adaptation that failed.
4/10.
I went to the Apex and Scala in Siam for old times sake last week without knowing the programme. Usually, there is an interesting movie not shown elsewhere on the circuit but this time it seemed that they had sold their souls to the distributors and it was mostly mainstream Hollywood shit. I mean, just what dickhead would actually pay to watch Jack Reacher pap?
In the end, I went for the least worst option and saw the "Accountant" hoping this was Affleck/Simmons at their best. Despite a promising beginning it transpired to be stupid implausible shit only an American might think interesting or rewarding. Definitely, one made for the taxman and only worth it as a means of killing time watching for free on your own sofa.
Just watched Captain Fantastic ..good movie..something different..9/10
Captain Fantastic (2016) - IMDb

Child 44 (2015) - IMDb
This is from t'other thread:
Watched that last night. I've never been the biggest Oasis fan but it was pretty good viewing.
Strangely it made me appreciate Liam Gallagher a bit more. He's still an utter twat in my opinion, I just kinda see the twatishness in a different light now I guess.
There are some deeper underlying comments on the current status of music and society as a whole that I kinda detected but am far to inarticulate to express.![]()
Perhaps you'd find it easier if you talked less shit?
Just an idea.
Your tiresome feud with Dillinger is only making one person look foolish and it isn't who you think.
I'm on Episode 5 of The Crown. Really interesting stuff, great actors etc. They have another 8 seasons lined up supposedly. Hope she doesn't kick the bucket before that!!
I'm liking it because it is history that i know. Which is probably why, for me, it is more interesting than Victoria or War and Peace.
I still have Narcos season 2 lined up.
Film review, anyone.?
Okay dokey. Watched "War Dogs" yesterday:
Based on a true story, a couple of old school pals (Jonah Hill and Miles Teller) meet up at a funeral and catch up on present circumstances.
Hill's character is a loudmouth fat bully, but played with enough repellent energy to keep the plot believable and mildly amusing (this is a comedy), he offers his old pal a job as his business sidekick - providing small arms and weapons online.
Trade takes off and the bumbling duo then get offers to bid for US Defense military contracts, which is where things get interesting, insightful and darkly-comedic into the workings of the US Military corporations.
These two asshole kids get to all sorts of outrageous situations, and fly and supply hardware to Baghdad and Jordan, before a weapons expo in Vegas and a meeting with a shady Govt operative has them flying to Albania for an 'eventful' arms deal..
Watchable. 6/10 from me.

Not sure if it has been mentioned before but Inherent Vice is a must to download and savour. Great script and fine cast shot beautifully in a superbly realised vintage 70s California without a coherent plot.
Australia movie "The Clinic " 1982
you call that a review ?![]()
Well, it was lauded as Anderson's third film in his "trilogy" charting American cultural development, preceded by "There will be Blood" and "The Master". Written by one of America's finest writers, Thomas Pynchon, the book on which the film was based represented a challenge to Anderson to film, as indeed do all Pynchon's works, and therefore many cineastes were interested for that reason alone. For me, I love to see Joachim Phoenix work and the film is rewarding enough simply for his performance.
But, I digress.
You are but a base Welsh twat.
