Watched the Tintin flick last night. Most enjoyable even though Tintin is a blatant iron.

Woody Harrelson in RAMPART. Total piece of shit. I have no idea what the movie was about. He played an LAPD cop. 2/10.

Mullholland Drive was an interesting enough film, although I found the 'plot' a bit of a waste of space; had potential, but... 6/10

    Saw 'Fat Pizza' last night.
Never heard of it before seeing it in the DVD shop.
Bloody hilarious but I think a lot of it will be lost on most non Aussies, very dry humour.
It's a long time since I've actually laughed out loud at a movie, this one tickled my funny bone somehow.Something about the cleaner at the Sydney Opera house sneaking the Queen a quickie during the opening ceremonies while she says (in that very plum in mouth way she speaks)"oooh yes, do me like a corgi", that tickles my funny bone.
If you like your movies not too serious (in fact a bit ridiculous) this is a beaut.

In true Aussie fashion it's entirely politically incorrect, taking the piss out of everyone including fat chicks and wogs.
One of the wogs drives around delivering Pizzas in his old yellow valiant with the number plates 'bad wog', and for some reason that's never fully explained there's always a couple rooting in the back seat.
A good one to have a few beers and watch.

I'd completely forgotten about this, remember seeing "Pizza" when it was broadcasted on SBS, very funny series. Saw the Fat Pizza movie too years ago, can't remember anything about it though, will have to watch it again.
    Cheers for recommending.

I watched Fat Pizza all the way through for the first time a few weeks ago, they show it pretty reguarly on the channels. It starts off good, but gets kinda corny midway throught it.

I've seen it, the parts on the train were fucking funny.

Moonsoon wedding is about to come on, I've seen a few times, but like watching the girl who played the maid Alice. She was looking good in that movie.

Yeah, the Pusher series is great fucking stuff. Scandies have had some great fucking movies the last few years, they do dark movies which I love really well. They've also had some good comedies, if you've never seen it, Adams Apple is a great comedy. I'm lucky to have the Sundance channel, Indie movie channel, and International Film Channel on my cable provider, so there is always something interesting to watch.

If you like Fat Pizza, then you'll love "Swift n Shift Couriers". Made by the same people I think, but much much better.

^Pretty sure I've seen some of that too. Same style as "Pizza".
I watched nothing but SBS and ABC for years before I got Foxtel, just couldn't handle the commercial stations and their ad breaks every 10 minutes.

French movie. 'What Love May Bring'. A classic tale of love and war set in WWII Paris. Excellent subtitles. A really good movie. 9/10. I would have given it higher, but it lost a reality point for black American 101st Airborne paratroopers, when there weren't any. Other than that, some good plot twists; kept me watching straight through without a break.
