    That looks fantastic!

I'm on the countdown at work and fly out next Tuesday.

Gonna treat myself to a couple of days on my own in Bangkok next week, and high on the list is a nice fish and chips. On the second day probably steak and kidney pie, but just as likely a second fish and chips!

No idea how long you've been in the industry, but I can tell you that feeling you get in your stomach with just a few days to go before flying home never goes away. Having seen your Norwegian food photos, you couldn't be going to a better city than Bangkok to ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶b̶a̶t̶ ̶l̶i̶c̶k̶e̶d̶ ̶ enjoy some diverse food again. Bon appetite

^ 29 years... and counting, the way the pound is...

Yes, it's a great feeling and will be hard to get much done over the weekend.

Went to a churrasco at a mate's place last night. Damn those Brazilians sure do know how to cook meat, it was delicious:

Pics are a bit shit and don't do it justice because I was busy concentrating on drinking beers.

Also, and not for nothing, I'll just point out that's not my place / fence because last time I posted pics from the same place it inspired my fan club to spend a couple of years banging on about it. Fkn obsessed nutters.

They were rather massive. Only seven adults and same number of kids so there was a shite load of food.

^ I'm sure, but I don't want to be doing anything fancy.

Steak and kidney pie and chips, in a bar, with me pint. Simple as that!

Guess I'm after a good pie and good 'ambience' combination...

Can't go wrong with The Codfather for fish n chips. It's up near Soi Cowboy. I had the haddock (official fish n chips) and it was decent.

Maybe somewhere like Bully's, Robin Hood's or The Pickled Liver for the pie.

I've never heard of the Codfather but I'm staying up that way, so maybe haddock and chips for lunch, after breakfast at Robin Hood!

I usually end up in Hanrahans (Fitgeralds) at some point but have been disappointed by their pies.

    Problems problems...
