Gert nearly took a swing at her.
When we first moved to England nearly 6 years ago before we found somewhere to buy papaya the misses used to use swede as a substitute.

    Gravy a mere condiment??
Be off man, take your dry pork belly, tasteless yorkies, poove asparagus, carrots with the nasty bits left on and ffs, is that a fucking zucchini? Italian faggotry at it's worst.
What's under the plate man, a gay pride sticker?

No sir, that is a fucking courgette. And it's about as masculine a vegetable as you can get. You people at Mc99s would do well to observe the fodder plated by Monsieur Slap.

    Oh-ho...!
That's what it is - a pork square of something or another.

    Thanks for the identification, Sid...

Smuggling a zucchini over the Alps in you bottom and calling it le'courgette doesn't make it any less poove.

Pilsner Urquell is probably my favorite beer. Well done, sir and I'd green you if I could.

    ^ 3 bottles for £5 in Sainsburys.

It's usually a toss up between the Uquell, Leffe and Staropramen from the shelves since pubs have become obsolete in the life of Mr Slap.

One pint of Kronenberg - £4!?

    On yer bike.

Was 4.95 for a pint of K when I lived in Chiswick and that was years ago.

Get the lingo right - slang for Kronenberg is 'a pint of the numbers'. Never, ever would you here a self respecting Englishman ask for a pint of K.

Unless you're pre pubescent and drink in a park...

This shit has a lot to answer for:

On the contrary, dear Bollinger. For it is considered extremely homosexual indeed to drink in licensed emporiums nowadays. One must generally go by Tarquin or Sebastian and sip little white wine spritzers while thinking about penis if one is to frequent a public house.

    You'll see.

Unless of course you go to Wetherspoons, and the prerequisite for doing so is not to wash.

So you are keeping your courgette muching options open by having a foot planted firmly in each camp eh?

    Back on topic.
I'm sick of food, done with pies, pasties, roasts, steak, fish, bread.
Last night I had a packet (large) of lays bbq crisps for dinner.

Was going to plate them with some woster, melted cheese and bacon bits, but then decided to just have them au'naturale out of the bag.

^Sure is, especially with BBQ chips. But if a guy is saying grace over a packet of chips, kitchen duties of any type are probably out of the question + this is available at all purveyors of fine foods in Thailand.

In the company of other like-minded guys.
Real men in a real pub. Not the fashionable martini/wine bars...

    Still gay.

Terry aint gonna be pleased ^ best clean your act up a bit

I still reckon the humble roast chicken takes a bit of beating for value .

Yesterday this little beaut provided us with roast dinner , then chicken salad for both our work food today ,, then tonight dinner for me plus another chicken salad for the wife tomorrow plus chicken sandwiches for me .

Marrows supplied by a kind neighbour along with courgettes now cause he,s grown too many potatoes out my garden Tesco Blue + white label carrots

Very cheap eating here if you work it out right

I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
