Dinner

Leggy Leather Lady sent me this pic and asked me if I wanted to come over for dinner

Quicker than ravished rat up a hornpipe I was in the chariot in time to catch the sunset

There was a howling wind blowing even at ground level so it was gale force up on the bird's nest balcony. These canoeists must have been working hard to stay on course.

First up she served me a smoked chicken roll from a bagel shop. She is not a whizz in the kitchen and prefers to get food delivered from restaurants.

Then she said that was just the starter and she had got some beef and she was going to cook it herself. I was quite touched as I could tell she was out of her comfort zone but it was tasty cut if a little over cooked in the tiny electric frying pan.

I had already started eating it when she asked me if I wanted asparagus to go with it, so she then spent 10 minutes doing that, so I nuked the beef so it had a matching temperature once the asparagus was ready.

I chipped in with dessert which was a tasty coffee cake

She is no oat cuisine chef, but I think I might cut her a break on that score

Speaking of bad boys…it was steak nite at the pub yesterday. Balncing the steak on a pile of chips wasn’t smart. My youngest was trying to cut the steak while balanced and unsurprisingly managed to know his entire steak onto the floor. Fortunately, the staff replaced it free.
