I got one, and it works brilliantly. Wash a potato well, no need to peal the skin if you like. put it in the press and in a couple of seconds you have fresh fries .
IMO, the frozen fries we buy at the store do not compare.
Or use a knife, like magic

I went to Vila Market in Udon Thani last week to check it out. I was not impressed.
But I did find some real american hot dogs, (Oscar Mayer) , and some smoked ham and turkey, , Funny think is that back in the US I would not even look at Oscar Mayer hot dogs or cold cuts, but hot dogs here in Thailand are so bad, Oscar Mayer was a treat.
Anyway, I made some Pita bread, That I was going to use later to make Gyros but with italian sausages that I had made a couple of weeks ago and froze.

anyway I had a lot of dough and while I was waiting for it to rise, I stole some , wrap a couple of them Oscar Mayer hot dogs and fried them

Then wife brought some street food she bought and by that time I was too full for Sausage gyros, so maybe tomorrow,:)

It's been six months here and we are already itching to go back to the states. The announcement that there might be no quarantine to the US after next month, is certainly good news. If we go there, on my return trip, my sitcase would be full of food. :)
