One nice meal I recently placed on the Lancashire Thread.

    It's here for the connoisseurs

We had some outstanding Plaice the other night.

    Really tasty.

Flobo grilled them nice and gently.

Grilled a couple of those big tasty mushrooms,
along with some really tasty vine tomato's
then added a little Isle of Mull extra strong
    Cheddar to the mushrooms.

    Looking brilliant.

She finished it off with a little broccoli.

    Exceptionally good.
All the women take their blouses off
And the men all dance on the polka dots
    It's closing time !

Thought I'd best place a nice steak on here.

    Flobo cooked this Sunday last.

    Exceptional sirloin.

Flobo grilled it slowly with a couple of
very tasty Apple and Pork sausage.

A few vine tomato's, another large mushroom stuffed with
grilled Isle of Mull strong tasty cheese and sprinkled with
    chives.

    A Cracking meal.

Flobo bought some really nice pieces of gammon.

They were large, we had one between us for dinner tonight.

    Outstanding.

Flobo grilled it with some nice sausages bought at the same shop.

A few vine tomato's and a nice juicy big mushroom with some of the
blue cheese grilled on top of it.

As you can see, it looked sensational.

    Tasted even better.

One here from The Beautiful Lancashire pages:-

    A real Flobo special.

Flobo made a really outstanding meal with shin beef,
kidney and other bits and pieces.

    The meat was beautiful.

    She added barley, carrots, onions,
potato's and made some sensational suet dumplings.

Mix the self raising flour with water and add enough suet to
form a nice firm but pliable dough.

A pinch of salt doesn't go amiss either.

Divide up into separate balls of individual dumplings.

Simply place them on top of the stew
which should be well cooked and leave
    for about 20 minutes.

The shin beef by the way was cooked very slowly on a
low light for about five hours.

Add the dumplings and cook on a
high light for about twenty minutes.

All will be ready to serve at this time.

    Looking really good.

    Get the plates out Flobo.

Some nice sprouts, a few slices of beetroot.

    A little mash.

    What a sensational meal.

    Gorgeous.

    I mentioned Flobo cooking those
fancy kippers and serving them up
with a tomato and some scrambled eggs.

    Delicious.

    Really tasty.

Another exceptionally nice meal from Flobo.

It's been aired on The Beautiful Lancashire thread, but deserves
a showing on here for the gourmet section.

Flobo bought some exceptionally nice Plaice the other day.

    They were quite large.

    She grilled them really slowly.

I had two of them with the tasty vine tomato's,
large mushroom stuffed with Danish Blue which melted
    into it sensationally.

Three or four new potato's and a sprinkling of chives.

Nice cup of tea, what more is needed.

    ^ Sounds good KW.

We had some lightly battered lemon sole the other night.

Plenty of fish on the menu lately.

I'm really enjoying the big mushrooms, stuffed
with the different cheeses and melted down under the grill.

    Tasty.

Sunday, and Flobo roasted a small succulent lamb knuckle.

Served it up with a nice assortment of vegetables,
    plus a little tasty mash.

    Nice too.
