Bacon sandwiches with cheese.
Dog had rice, pedigree chum mix with some beefy soup stuff added. He didn't eat it as he's been eating bones all day.

Chicken-fried steak and white gravy with mashed potatoes and peas.
I love chicken-fried steak. Something so perverse about deep-frying beef. It's delicious. Always have to get it when I'm home for a visit.
Roast chicken tonight with a tomato and spring onion salad. Possibly some macaroni cheese on the side if I can be bothered.
Dogs getting nothing cos I found out he's been getting snacks all day for the last 2 days.
^ Aaaw! Poor Jettie! Though I'm actually sure he prefers the snacks.
I'm sure he does but it ain't happening. No fat farty dogs in this house. One's enough.Originally Posted by November Rain

The kids asked if I would make them one of my specialities (salmon rissoles) tonight and I finally got off my arse to do it.
I am also in the good books with the missus also as she also enjoys them and had the night off and out of the kitchen.
Absolutely delicious and easy to prepare and cook.
^ Recipe or a red?
I had leftover Chinese. Just getting my recipes together for Thanksgiving dinner (Monday in Canada).
Spaghetti with a Thai sort of fishy curry sauce which was very nice. The dog wouldn't touch it, fussy bugger.
I will murder, rape and pillage for any information leading me to the whereabouts of said vegetable.Originally Posted by Loy Toy

3 cheese pizza (parmesan, mozzarella & goats') on a funny corn grain base. Nice but too big, so Dizzy, Star & Jack (the only 3 dogs allowed into my 'office' while I'm in here) shared it with me. They liked it.
Thai tenderloin cut in less than bite-sized pieces sauted with onions, bell pepper, jalapeno, tomato, oregano, fesh cracked pepper and fresh ground cumin. with saffron rice and flour tortillas. pico de gallo on the side.
with a squeeze of lime. Nice.

Kenna believe how long it took for me to post this!
^ Ok. Hope you're feeling alright. No rush on the recipe as I'm prepping Thanksgiving dinner.

Big Joe's! Now there are fine memories of meat pies and beet pickles.
Chai Tea for breakfast.
Had a payday for lunch,
Probably grilled cheese for dinner.
^ You better start eating, Girl!
Sorry, can't help you then. We can always get frozen down here & in the next month or so, we should be able to get fresh, as well (always can for Thanksgiving & Christmas period), but Hua Hin is quite a bit south of you. Sorry.Originally Posted by somtamslap
Not impressed with their meat pies, Jettie. We just got a Villa & they stock them. Up till now we've just had the HH based Hua Hin Ham Bacon & Meat Co ones and The Cottage Kitchen ones (HH based as well). Not only are the ones from the two HH companies cheaper, they're much better tasting as well. Big Joes have too much pastry, not enough filling, IMO.Originally Posted by Jet Gorgon

^ Oh, expanded did he? Likely mucked it up. The little local shop did fair pies, albeit pricey.
Pad Kapo Moo gai dow. ...................... I think. Jolly nice though.
