It's not about possible reasons to object, but getting permission - an important difference. ;)Quote:

Too late, I have been on his blacklist of undesirable non-persons for a while already.Quote:

Nobody's perfect man, not even me. :)
Have you been up all night Timber? ..You really should get some sleep.
I hope I don't join you there.

Those steaks were just too fekking BIG for me, but all the stuff you concocted looked seriously good, your enthusiasm comes across - and I am not a steak-person.
^He has a dog....
^Thanks for reading my material DD. In response to stroller, those are big steaks, which is why I served them with 5 vegetarian courses (mostly, the 1st recipe featured duck so everyone would have their protein fix) and no starches, well some bread, but it was for the taste not the fill.
That was his landlord's in the pic.Quote:

New ideas are always welcome here.
That's nice to know, there are so many narrow-minded people on this board - at least as far as culinary delights off the trotten path are concerned.
Nothing wrong with butter-soaked steaks, or a slice of carrot next to a broccoli bud on a square plate with a dripping of sauce reminiscent of a Jackson Pollock painting, don't get me wrong, I might even let you treat me to some of your artwork myself when I get to BKK.
But I usually go for more rustic local delis. Variety is the spice of life.
We will have a dinner together someday, I hope.
Looked like a hell of a meal.
What can you do with grilled chicken breast for the less carnivorous of us ?
BTW - I thought Jackass was a funny movie
If DD lets me, I'll post some recipes, but I'm not sure if I've taken my efforts here too far (in the area of shameless self promotion)
Run a banner on TD and that will at least make it not shameless promotion because you advertise here. I have to agree with FF on this as you have come out big buns on promotion of your place.
:D i'm flattered. :)Quote:

* I vote that someone teach Timba and Miss A how to use 2 different browsers at once, so that they can both be logged into the one computer, and then we know who is TImba and who is Miss A when they post! , it got a bit confusing at times *
sorry, didn't really plan out how we were gonna thread this to much. We just saw the food and decided you needed to see it to so she came in here and worked on it while I cooked.
All done in real time. Lots of great food a little conflict and a 100% effort by the OP. All in all a brilliant thread.
Thanks.:1st:
