Jeez that's a strange one, have quite honestly never met anyone of any age who didn't like them. Did some kid at school with a pet Rabbit prank you?

Not especially difficult given that Italians, being particularly narrow-minded when it comes to food, like few other things apart from mamma's/nonna's cooking.

That was me. Meat should NEVER be in a loaf. Loaf of bread ok. Loaf of meat....I'll pass. I hated the texture, how it looked on a plate. It used to really make me queezy but Liver with onions was the worst of all. I'd walk in the door and smell it and go back out. My mom used to make me PBJs for dinner when they ate that crap.

I was forced to clean my plate, but thankfully my mom always provided a bottle of Heinz 57 to smother the liver in.

I hated pizza as a child! My family would go out occasionally to eat at Shakey’s Pizza and I would cry. I wanted to go a drive-in restaurant and have fish and chips or barbecue.

Love pizza way too much now.

Not a thing mentioned on this thread so far that I wouldn't eat.

    All in moderation, mind you.

I just thought of this while I was eating some boiled potatoes that I had made, but I've never once eaten a sprout in my life.

The things even smell like farts when they're being cooked!

Yup. Brussel sprouts for me too. Sickening taste

Love those things as an adult. They are even nice raw in a salad.

I still hate those stinking rutabagas, though.

Runny egg yolk (mine had to be cooked broken & over easy)
mashed potato - But boiled were fine so mine were removed prior to mashing.
Ate everything else, including liver, kidneys, hearts, tongue, Brussels sprouts etc

Is it only me that wasn't abused as a child?

We were never forced to eat anything we didn't want to.

Thankfully animal feed like livers, kidneys, sprouts, quiche and fokin' octopus were never on the menu.

Sprouts were the one thing I held my ground on. Id accept the punishment of not eating it. Even my dad said they smell like an old pair of socks. Then he would just eat them as if he was being tough.
