Can you imagine Chitty's kids seeing this thread in ten years time?
"Chicken, beef, pork, turkey, lamb, eggs, veg, pudding, pasta, rice...."
They'll experience their first food without a yellow discount sticker on when they leave home....only joking Chits
^^ i don't imagine it'll be placed in front of them looking like a grannies blurter
...growing up in an Italian-influenced household, I liked everything that was put in front of me...the family was served only what everyone liked...
Then it appears you weren't eating true Italian...

liver, sprouts and green peas.....
someone was ragging on meatloaf....I rather like it. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy is comfort food to me.
That was me. Meat should NEVER be in a loaf. Loaf of bread ok. Loaf of meat....I'll pass. I hated the texture, how it looked on a plate. It used to really make me queezy but Liver with onions was the worst of all. I'd walk in the door and smell it and go back out. My mom used to make me PBJs for dinner when they ate that crap.
The other one I forgot about was Yams which are essentially sweet potatoes for us Merkins.
I hated pizza as a child! My family would go out occasionally to eat at Shakey’s Pizza and I would cry. I wanted to go a drive-in restaurant and have fish and chips or barbecue.
Love pizza way too much now.
Not a thing mentioned on this thread so far that I wouldn't eat.
All in moderation, mind you.

Love those things as an adult. They are even nice raw in a salad.
I still hate those stinking rutabagas, though.
Runny egg yolk (mine had to be cooked broken & over easy)
mashed potato - But boiled were fine so mine were removed prior to mashing.
Ate everything else, including liver, kidneys, hearts, tongue, Brussels sprouts etc
Is it only me that wasn't abused as a child?
We were never forced to eat anything we didn't want to.
Thankfully animal feed like livers, kidneys, sprouts, quiche and fokin' octopus were never on the menu.
