Picked up a baguette, some gauda and "Canadian" ham.
Fancied a gauda and fried egg Manwich.
Simple, manly and tasted good...

The baguette is nice and fresh, so thought I might as well keep going...
What's this Canadian Bacon like?
Hmmm, not bad. Quite a gentle taste, didn't go that well with the cheese, so I'll have to try another combination later...
Cycling should be banned!!!
Man Points off for the dodgy looking egg and even more questionable 'dog' but other than that I'd eat the fuck outta that, nice one.
^ but he's doing his pirate face for you...

In a fight, my money is on the cat...
TBH, not sure bookies would take bets on it.![]()
It certainly wouldn't be the first dog he has fucked up.![]()
The wife seems to be on strike, though to be honest it's very hard to tell...
So left to me own devices I found an old bag of pumpkin soup in the freezer and had it with corned beef sarnies.
I go open-topped these days as I figure that halves the carbs in one fell swoop. Do they still count as 'manwiches?
I also livened them up with a dollop of home made ratatouille, which was a mistake. I should have gone with my original plan of Daddies sauce.
All things considered, I would say the whole combination was pretty revolting.
It comes to something when your eight year old daughter can beat you on manwiches... Her triple decker fishcake and baked bean manwich (first posted on the dinner thread) was a work of art!

Manwich of the day:
Korean beef is pretty expensive, but very tender; the Koreans consider it better than the Japanese beef.
Couldn't find a nice cheddar, so went with a pretty nice tasting Gauda as a base.
The beef was pretty thin, so added a tad of olive oil in a pan then cooked the beef for no more than 10 seconds per side.
It was a dill mustard that I haven't tried before, wasn't sure about it, so only put it on one half.
Tasted nice, preferred it without the mustard. Might add a tad of ground pepper for the next one.
Decided to manwich again, different bread, no mustard:
