Best foods mayo is horrible, and Krafts Miracle Whip is even worse.

Only use Kraft mayo myself, but there's always shortages of it in Bangkok. 4 big supermarkets near me and they have been out of Kraft mayo for 4-5 months now.

And while I'm at it, what happened to Carrefours own brand smoked bacon? Better than every other brand out there, half the price, used to sell out daily at Carrefours, then they stopped selling it.

Still bacon sarnies for brekkie lunch and dinner couldn't have been doing me much good, every cloud, silver lining and other cliches.

I think that's called Thai business acumen.

    I believe you're right.

After I get round to writing that letter to Marks and Sparks about discontinuing their sausage quiche 15 years ago I will get round to tackling Carrefours about their bacon.

Do you mean Potato chips,, or do you mean French Fries??

Been around these limeys to long,, they think Cookies are biskits. and French fries are chips and chips are crisps.

I meant "fries". Since we have some many pommies here I figured I should cater to their peculiar lingo!
    Potato chips are "crisps" BTW!

Got to admit I do But its more of a French thing really Pomme Frits with Mayo .

Your average Brit is more onto drowning them in Tomato Ketchup ! showing a complete lack of taste ! (no pun intended )

I was wondering where it came from.
I like the malt vinegar trick myself, helps cut the grease.
Mayo on chips while kind of tasty is too fatty!

Burger king was giving ketchup or Ranch Dressing with fries when I left the states,, Ranch is kinda different and not to bad.

Goes well with a double whopper with cheese [NO, not a fat gal with a yeast infection] I mean a hamburger, and a choc shake.

I thought it was a german thing. First came across it when I was stationed in Germany in the Sixties. After a night on the beer used to go for a brockfaust (sp) and chips and was always served with a good dollop of mayo

If you cook good chips properly, then salt and vinegar is all you need. Maggi is next best.

If you are the sort of person that puts ketchup on your eggs (like a significant proportion of Adelaide), then feel free to put anything you like on your chips. Wait for Judgement day.

Actually, I just bought some of this. You're right it is pretty good. Comparable to Kraft and about half it's price.

    Let's go for the century.

Speaking of Century, the best thing to go with shit mayonnaise is shit tuna and that is Century Tuna which is brown in colour and tastes like dolphin shit in rusty oily water.

Someone down the pub mentioned a Japanese brand which is supposed to be pretty good. They sell it at Tesco's and I have no idea what the brand is.
