Best domestic knife sharpener in the world? Try this!

    CATRAHONE Diamond Power Knife Sharpener

I bought one of these little beauties a couple of years ago. Not cheap though...

They put an almost razor edge on knives and because the system does not heat up the steel, the edge stays longer.

I was taught how to sharpen a knife by my uncle who, before he went farming was a meat worker...or Freezing Worker as we call them.

Used to stone the blade to get a decent edge and then 'steel' it to align the blade and knock any rough edges off. A lot of shagging around though.

This thing does it in no time and the results are fantastic.

Made in Sheffield, UK. There is no shitty workmanship in this little bugger.

Well, I've had it many years now and actually bought it over to Bangkok.

I've sharpenned a heap of knives with it and they sharpen up no worries so I suppose I'll rate it an eight.

Hasn't seemed to fuck the Blade.

They're everywhere in Bangkok by the way.

I used to have a three step powered one in a former lifetime/relationship.

Now I have one of these:

Same principle as Anysharp it just doesn't stick to the counter, and it does scissors.

Depends if you have a good knife, or a POS. If a POS, then a cheap Chin is good.

Cheap sharpeners fcuk the blade, you only have to look at the edge....and there is sharp and there is sharp... Can shave with my knives.
