It does however seems like there are quite few who know how to cheat on here. But of course they would never do that!

I’ll help you with this one. The game resets at midnight for each different time zone. I am in Adelaide 3.5 hours ahead of Thailand.

I understand the game resets at midnight but the time assigned to to posts is accordingly to the time here in Thailand
And you posted your result for game 486 at 8:32pm yesterday whereas Troy posted his result for game 485 after you at 12:02 today, amazing?

Before you go off calling me a dumbass I also know that Troy is in Europe so there is a time lapse that would allow that to occur legitimately, I just couldn't resist having a crack.

As for trying rescue Octordle, probably not as I struggle with Quordle, regular Octordle and secdordle so I will pass rather than embarrass myself, unless I get a brilliant result, then I would post it just so you can say I must have cheated.

Has it occurred to you that people can post their results at the time of their choosing and not just immediately after they have finished the game?

I seem to remember that the day I posted "that" Quordle "result" was a result of some tosser that posted their completed answers on here and I used that to fill in the blanks.
I didn't cheat per se rather I was protesting.

I just seen your last post and my reply to that is why would someone go to all that effort? They would have to copy their result and save it as the game resets and then the previous result is no longer available.
I personally couldn't be bothered doing it that way but TD posters are sometimes strange.
