My opener was ADIEU, so had the 3 vowels in the wrong places, experience said they would like line up as I*A*E.

Onwards to a century.

Today's starting word was inspired by an episode in front of our house last night where the head case across the street was threatening my next door neighbor who is the nicest guy in the world. He seemed to be intoxicated and was making delusional, paranoid, and threatening statements. Police were almost called which helped on WORDLE today, along with an appropriate starting word.

At any rate, the head case drove off after threatening another neighbor and he must have been arrested as his car is still gone. Life is usually quiet and peaceful here in this suburb, but the quality of your neighbors can change that. The guy owns guns so we all hope he doesn't come back and mow us all down. Life in America.... sigh
