    Koh Larn Thonglang Beach

Thonglang beach is a bit easier to get to than Ta Yai beach so has more tourists, jet skis, banana boats, no touts that I saw so it does have its good points, again it is a small bay about 200 meters long at most.

This is the road leading to Thonglang Beach, after the dirt track you will see a concrete set of stairs leading down the mountain, yep you got to go down these, and also up them when you decided to leave the beach

Not to over commercialised, but not really my cup of tea.

The water was nice and clean though.

The main Thai restaurant, here they have lockers you can rent for 50baht perday, also toilets you can use for 5baht, and showers for 30baht.

    Koh Larn Thonglang Beach

They have the swimming area bouyed off so the jet skis and speed boats don't kill and mutilate the tourists, got to admit this beach didn't really appeal to me, Ta Yai was nicer, less people and no jet skis etc, had a more laid back feel to it aswell, here there were quite a few speedboats turning up to drop off tourists, you can rent them at Bali Hai Pier for the day and they take you to different beaches that are a bit more difficult to get to, sod that, nothing wrong with the 20baht ferry and a bit of walking

Was thinking of paddling out to that little island

    Banana boats and jet skis

So instead of climbing up the stairs again to go to the next beach which is Ta waen Beach I decided to see if I could get round the headland, as you can see there used to be a walkway here but most of it has collapsed, well sod walking up those stairs I eventually got round the headland although I wouldn't recommend it for you older folks
