Dozens of Middle Eastern Tourists and Young Thai Men Brawl in South Pattaya

The Pattaya City Police stopped chaos between Middle Eastern foreigners, most reportedly from Kuwait, and young Thai men, many reportedly Bolt motorbike taxi app riders, in the Pattaya area on Saturday (August 3rd).

Captain Pansan Krongsit was notified of the incident at 5:00 A.M. in Soi Yen Sabai in Nongprue. They and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene finding signs of a conflict such as broken glass on the ground.

Local residents and witnesses told Pattaya police that over a dozen young Thai motorbike riders were arguing and fighting with dozens of young middle eastern men, mostly Kuwaiti nationals. Rocks were thrown by those involved in the conflict that caused damage to nearby businesses.

It is unclear, however, what sparked the dispute but tensions have been high in this area for weeks with police conducting almost daily crackdowns on mostly Kuwaiti students on school leave who have angered local residents for allegedly disrespecting locals and racing motorbikes around without proper licenses, registration, or documentation.

Several Kuwaiti nationals were reportedly injured in the conflict and CCTV footage shows dozens of foreign tourists, again mostly seemingly Kuwaiti students, running and hiding in nearby shops as packs of angry young Thai men threw rocks and shouted at them.

Police advised business owners and injured individuals to file official reports to police so that they could conduct a formal investigation. Meanwhile, police are checking CCTV footage to track down both Thai and foreign law breakers.

Complaints have continued to pour in on a daily basis about Middle Eastern tourists on Soi Yensabai allegedly disrupting the peace and quiet of the area and angering local residents which continue to increase tension between different groups.

Wherever in the world these middle eastern types wash up, you can guarantee they will one way or another antagonise the locals and conflict will result.

Well, after several years of inertia from the useless police, the locals have finally grasped the reality that if they want to preserve some peace and quiet during the silent hours they will have to take matters into their own hands. Well done the motorsai boys. These Kuwaiti fuckers have been doing this for several seasons and have got off lightly because of the craven response of the Thai Chinese desperate to make money from their tourism. They all stay in skanky hotels, share rooms and spend the whole time fucking around the streets on their rented scooters and Clicks, most hired illegally.

A year or two ago returning from Jomtien on a songthaew the driver took a different route through Pattaya Tai and ended up in one of the sois used by the Kuwaiti pricks to rally on their wee bikes. One idiot tried to grab the rail I was leaning on in an attempt to hitch a ride on his bike. I rapped his knuckles the best I could but he fucked himself up as the soi narrowed and he collided with a parked car. I liked to think I contributed to his inattention.

TheyÂ’re all around their very early twenties, go in groups and seem to spend the entire time down in Pattaya Tai - never see the fuckers in the malls or elsewhere which is a blessing. They donÂ’t seem to drink.

Pattaya Police Seek to Expel Kuwaiti Nationals Involved in Recent Violence with Locals

Pattaya Police launched an investigation following a violent, massive clash between Thai and Kuwaiti nationals on Soi Yensabai this weekend. The Kuwaiti suspects will potentially be deported from Thailand after facing legal charges, police said.

The investigation was spearheaded by Pol. Lt. Col. Sirach Nuethes, Deputy Commander of Pattaya Police Station, along with Pol. Lt. Col. Piyapong Ensarn, Superintendent of Tourist Police Division 4.

The officers led a team of over 50 officers to inspect Soi Yensabai around the late afternoon of August 3rd, 2024. They also discussed with representatives of the Kuwaiti students involved in the incident to inform them of the Thai laws, regulations during their stay, and the incident’s legal consequences.

Pol. Lt. Col. Sirach told The Pattaya News that Pattaya Police will pursue legal action against both Kuwaiti and Thai nationals responsible for the attack. He will also inform the Chonburi Immigration Office for the potential revocation of the Kuwaiti suspects’ visas before pushing for their deportation.

Pattaya Police Round Up Bolt Drivers Involved in Clash with Kuwaiti Tourists

Pattaya Police finally managed to round up a group of Thai Bolt drivers who were involved in a massive fight with Kuwaiti tourists on Soi Yensabai earlier this weekend.

On August 5th, 2024, Pol. Col. Nawin Thirawit, Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station, along with other officers, apprehended nine Bolt drivers, aged 20-30 years old. They were taken to the Pattaya police station for questioning before being formally charged with assault and property damage.

The arrests followed a clash between Thai men, many of whom were Bolt drivers, and Kuwaiti tourists after an unresolved traffic accident dispute. Reports indicate that over 50 Kuwaiti men attacked a single Thai man, prompting the Thai men to retaliate, which led to the viral confrontation.

The nine suspects, whose names were not disclosed by the police, admitted their involvement in the fight. They claimed that their actions were motivated by a Facebook post, which urged Pattaya locals to reclaim their honor after the alleged attack on the Thai man.

The suspects also expressed their displeasure with the behavior of some Kuwaitis who drive loudly and disregard Thai traffic laws. They apologized to the Pattaya community for the disturbance caused.

The suspects are now being processed for legal action.
