Ten stabbed in Tokyo Train attack

No guns and no deaths thankfully.

Ten people were stabbed Friday night on a train in Tokyo by a man with a knife, according to the Tokyo Fire Department.

The department responded to a call at 8:38 p.m. and found victims with bloodstains when they arrived at the scene.

All victims were conscious and one person walked away on their own, the department said.

    No deaths have been reported.

According to Japan's public broadcaster, NHK, the suspect walked to a convenience store and turned himself in, saying to the clerk, "I am the suspect of the crime that's playing in the news right now. I'm tired of running."

Tokyo Metropolitan Police later identified the man as later as Yusuke Tsushima, the Associated Press reports.

He allegedly admitted the charge and confessed he "just wanted to kill any women who looked happy, anyone," NHK reported.

I swear the world is going insane! I think all the stress and the pressure on the family unit is begging to have a negative affect on out mental condition.
What king of thought process could lead a person to do something like that?

I'm guessing it wasn't "I'm so happy in this loving relationship with this woman that loves me".

Decades from now social scientists will look back on this period and blame all this madness on the pandemic. And there's more than a fair chance they'd be right.

Que? ‘We’ve’ all been in a place of murderous rage and felt like stabbing ten random women on a train because they looked happy????

We have not all been there. If you have; I suggest you seek help because it’s not normal, nor was it even a fairly halfway funny joke.

I definitely have been in bad places, but not any where near that bad. I'm guessing his comment was sarcastic.
