BANGKOK, 19 February 2018 (NNT) - Private organizations in Thailand have banded together to organize the “Seub: Legend of the Forest Protector” charity drive, seeking donations for the nation’s forest rangers’ funds.
President of the Seub Nakasathien Foundation, Sasin Chalermlap, explained that the drive, taking place at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center on Pathumwan intersection, provides an opportunity for Thai people to contribute to those patrolling Tungyai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary, Huay Ka Keng National Park and many more national parks to protect them from illegal logging and poaching.
The highlights of the event are a sale of goods from a volunteer group, a wildlife photo exhibition, musical performances, seminars on animal conservation and the chance to donate to the Wildlife Preservation Fund.
Those interested can also donate via the Seub Nakasathien Foundation account or in the form of goods, such as backpacks, sleeping bags, water filters, cameras and rice. Information can be found at www.seub.or.th or by calling 02-580-4381
