I still wonder, at times, about my "gold mine" in Africa. Some years ago, a guy (supposedly a lawyer) emailed me abt having the same surname abt a guy who left some shares in a gold mine. I played along for a bit, exchanged emails, but when he asked for my bank acct number, I stopped. Oh, to think I could be filthy rich by now!

In my case, the scammer/lawyer was African. Don't know if Nigerian. Same same... heh..

Of course, I am not gleefully happy she got scammed, nor anyone for that matter.

Many, many Thai women, scam foreign men, without a flicker of remorse. The difference is in their 'technique'... *some, Thai women prey on vulnerable, lonely old men... these niggers prey on greedy, lonely old women...

    Same same.. but different... heh..
At least, foreign men are called Hamsun in Thailand.... They even become more attractive/hansum when they're older and frail. Of course, some women still go for the BULGE..... The guy's wallet bulge.

My wife's sister fell for some guy on the interweb and was asked to take cash (30,000B) to the airport where someone would meet her.

My wife who is a bit more worldly told the scammer (in Thai) that is would not be a problem as they have a cousin who works in Immigration at the airport. They had already given the money to him and that it can be collected any day. Just let her know what day.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.

If you have a few hours to kill, check out the letters page on 419eater.com.
I would recommend skeleton coast. Almost has you feeling sorry for the scammer.
    Not really.
