A group of Ford car buyers lodged a complaint at the Public Service Centre of the Government House to seek justice from Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha over the allleged substandard cars they bought from Ford Company.

The complaint which was signed by about 700 buyers of Ford Focus and Ford Fiesta cars was addressed to the prime minister asking for his intervention to settle the conflict with the car company.

Led by Mr Pattanapong Ongkaew, the group has been complaining with several governmental agencies seeking justice since last August, but still without success.

Many have wanted the company to take back the cars and to refund them, complaining that the problems which include engine overheating, engine jerking and, in a few worse case, engine catching fire. Although many of the cars were repaired by the company and defect parts replaced, they claimed that the same problems kept recurring.

The group vowed to return again if their complaint was not responded.
