I can understand them assisting tourists from within the Pig shop once the Tourist has been arrested but for them to be out on the beat is fuked up.

Much much worse if they are assisting in arresting Thai citizens, whether they be trash ladyboys or not is irrelevant .

The tourist police volunteers are the real scum, do they have work permits

Thai social media channels were in deep discussion on Wednesday and Thursday following the posting of a video depicting Ladyboy’s offering sexual services to a foreign tourist in Central Pattaya.

The video was posted on the popular and controversial video site, Liveleak by a man whose profile suggested he resides in Japan. The video was shot in Soi 6/1 and the famous Soi 6. Soi 6/1 is well-known as a hangout for Ladyboy’s who try to entice customers through the “back-door” of Soi 6 bars.

The video contains a “Sukalamea” watermark and we have discovered the video was originally created and posted on the internet in 2013 by someone named as “J Sukalamea” whose profile suggests he is an American residing in Makati in The Philippines.

We spoke with Khun Sinshai, the President of the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association who is annoyed at the video which he states “depicts Pattaya and Thailand in a very bad way” and “people outside of Thailand will not understand the video and interpret it in the wrong way”. Comments on Thai Social Media Channels were mixed but many condemned the foreign video-maker for posting the video instead of condemning the actions of the Ladyboy’s.

Thousands of similar videos, some far more explicit, can be found on the internet for the World to see, which provides the local authorities with a problem. Do they accept what occurs in Pattaya or do they make attempts to clean-up the City so videos of this nature are not posted in the future?

The volunteer cops do serve a purpose at times, seen it before and knew a few of them quite well years ago. You got some pissed up fucken newbie on his first gogo bar visit who's sure his bill shouldn't be more than 1000 baht, because he only drank 4 beers and bought 3 ladies drinks sort of thing and that only cost 460 baht in some backwater bar-beer last night. So he's surrounded by Thai's including cops - who he's sure are all in on the act - and milliseconds from getting the cvnt punched out of him. Along comes a Farang in uniform who assures him he's NOT being ripped off, escorts him to the nearest ATM and back, and as much as the Thai's still want to rip into him they won't while this volunteer cop is in the mix. As said, I've seen this sort of thing unfold many times before and it could have ended badly for the greenhorn.

As for the paratrooper wings, that's beyond a joke. Watched on local tv once before how these sort of plastic cops get these and it isn't by jumping out of any plane. There's a training facility at the Utupao air base where they "jump" off a platform that looked to be about 10 meters high while attached to some sort of a bungy-cord that stops them hitting the ground with any force. Job well done dickwad, here's your wings and wear them with pride
