What you are forgetting of course is that the raise in co2 is a lag effect; as the ice is naturally melting due to the continued warming of the earth as it is coming out of the mini ice age, ice is melting and releasing co2 into the atmosphere.

CO2 from human activity has no effect on rising temperature. Ice melt is causing the rise in atmospheric CO2. Do you have some links to information on this?

I'm sick of these graphs etc 'showing' it's getting warmer,
so how exactly do they decide that one period is hotter than another ?

For example they might say ''it's the hottest November since records began''
so what model do they use to compare to other Novembers ?

Here's what I heard they do , they take the 3 hottest days this Nov and find an average , then do the same for all the other Novembers hottest 3 days , then compare them .
And conclude as this Novembers is the hottest ever ....

But let's say this November had a hot start , but by the end was freezing , so when working out how this November ranks in the coldest list , they take the 3 coldest days and compare them to other November 3 day coldest day averages , and conclude its the coldest November ever ,,,,,

So the same month was the hottest and the coldest ever !!

Don't believe me , well you tell me how you think they decide one period is hotter than another .
If it was a clinical trial they would say exactly how they conducted the test etc
these clowns don't.
So best ignore these graphs they bandy about .
