Trump won because the Republicans have a gerrymander.

Mr Trump appears to be winning because he knows how to utilise the agreed rules, their constitution, to his advantage. Whether or not cheating was involved has not been highlighted. An attempt was made but it appears nothing was found.

It's not cheating, it's a gerrymander. Some could say it's rigged.
If each electorate had the same population that would be different but that's what their electoral college is supposed to overcome but as long as the electoral college votes the way the states vote nothing will change. The electoral college is redundant.
