There was a recent bit of news regarding John Kennedy's assassination and his successor Lyndon Johnson. Recently released documents indicate that Brigadier General Godfrey McHugh witnessed Johnson gibbering and sobbing in the Air Force One bathroom following the assassination:
“I walked in the toilet, in the powder room, and there he was hiding, with the curtain closed,” McHugh recalled. He claimed that LBJ was crying . “They’re going to get us all. It’s a plot.
It’s a plot. It’s going to get us all.’”
If McHugh's recollection is true (he was a Brigadier General, after all) it's still not clear how to interpret Johnson's rantings. Johnson seemed terrified that either the plotters or the legal system was going to get him. Any TD members know what to make of Johnson's behavior?
If you combine the above revelation with some interviews of Johnson's long-time mistress Madeleine Duncan Brown, one gets the impression that LBJ at the very least had foreknowledge of a specific plot against Kennedy.
