That is true to a certain extent, but would you agree that after a reasonable term in office/government then blaming others for problems becomes rather pathetic and is likely to turn voters off?
How about taking responsibility, following manifesto pledges (if you didn't know the state of affairs, don't make wild pledges because that's just lying) and having a personality/spine - something like being able to look into the camera and smile or attending events which are difficult (rather than just avoiding them). Look at the Finnish PM - wouldn't you vote for him, I would. We don't seem to have anybody like that. Starmer still gets advice from Blair's institute which is pretty close to Trump's funders (in some cases the same people - Larry Ellison, for example...). You're a smart guy, Cyrille, why support Starmer?
