That is true to a certain extent, but would you agree that after a reasonable term in office/government then blaming others for problems becomes rather pathetic and is likely to turn voters off?

How about taking responsibility, following manifesto pledges (if you didn't know the state of affairs, don't make wild pledges because that's just lying) and having a personality/spine - something like being able to look into the camera and smile or attending events which are difficult (rather than just avoiding them). Look at the Finnish PM - wouldn't you vote for him, I would. We don't seem to have anybody like that. Starmer still gets advice from Blair's institute which is pretty close to Trump's funders (in some cases the same people - Larry Ellison, for example...). You're a smart guy, Cyrille, why support Starmer?

I wish Labour had taxed the filthy rich instead of making things so tough for business.

I believe there should be more emphasis on rejoining the EU, because BREXIT was bonkers.

In my opinion Labour would be far more inspiring with Burnham as leader, but that Reform would be disastrous and the tories are responsible for a very large amount of the troubles the country has.

So you agree that Starmer is crap, Cyrille, good... :) Taxing businesses is a nice way of saying taxing individuals through business as well as pensions and other personal taxes, reducing non-taxable limits in many areas. &&&&&, inflation is through the roof (as Simon43 is likely finding out) - but that goes back to Covid and out of control business greed (many with record profits), and, yes, the Tories being crap (like Labour), imho.

We cannot rejoin Europe; this idea alone, if pledged, would win Reform the election (&, I'm not Brexit was a success). We should get closer to Europe and be solid partners; It would be nice if there was a mature debate about what this means, in details.

One of the big problems with Brexit was there was zero intelligent discussion by either side.

Indeed, the Lib Dems have no credibility after that massive u-turn on university fees for English students.

They had more votes than Labour and protesters at the time to make a difference but alas they sold out their members.

&, you're right, I would never vote for Clegg regardless of the situation. If he was closest to Reform in my local area, I wouldn't vote (which isn't good as it's a wasted vote, but Clegg... :( ).
