So to elaborate on this further Amazon got this contract back in 2014. It is to build a computing cloud for the CIA. It was not a conspiracy back then in fact there was no mention of it. Fast forward to the present day and a few days ago the typical conspiracy sites come out of nowhere attempting to tie the CIA to WaPa. Why would they do it? Would it be to attempt to discredit the paper due to the diligent reporting it has been doing with regards to the WH and Russia?

If the government was going to need a new fighter jet would they build it themselves? Of course not they would call Boeing or Lockheed. That is exactly what happened here. Amazon dominates cloud computing there is no one better to build a cloud for the government then them.
