No question about it, I would, and you would too. Heh heh.
Good for him, he works out daily and is in good health, I'm sure he has a vast array of intelligent willing beauties begging to comfort him in those looooong winter nights in Mother Russia...

A wheel on the centre line?
I presumed it was for the inevitable Russian hard landing or non tarmac runway landings. But 'arry's your plane trivia man.
Only two engines, not very rusty, no snow on the ground, the wrong plane, no amerstani flag, no Russian fighter jets to protect the plane from dissidents ......
Those are my last guesses. Not playing any-more, I thinks that's mum calling me in for tea.
Not much toller than Angela, so why he should?

So what are we not seeing in the Malaysia airlines picture?
https://teakdoor.com/attachments/spea...-aircraft-.jpg
American style flag on the Malaysia plane? Tails of the Fed-Ex planes in the background?? I give...
Other than than the 380s all Malaysian airlines planes have 2 engines. Even the two which crashed, one in Ukraine and one allegedly into the the Indian ocean were 2 engined Boeing 777-200ER
Russias Presidential are predominantly Ilyushin Il-96-300PU and have 4 engines. Which I suspect an attacking aircraft would see clearly, as well as the 4 con trails being clear from any missile launch teams on the ground.
If this of course is where you are coming from.
Thanks.
It's difficult to ascertain Putin's plane at the time as in the past he has utilized both 2 and 4 engine aircraft.
It's also difficult to know what went through the pilot's mind when/if in the 'attack mode' and didn't take proper target procedure, could he read English - did he bother, or just focused on the white fuselage with the same coloured stripes - probably an easy but disastrous error.
What we do know is the Russians had good relations with Malaysia and Holland, had no reason to bring down any airliner and this attack was a terrible tragedy.
The outed and named pilot has since committed suicide.

And your evidence is a BBC statement.
From your BBC link:
"A Ukrainian military pilot blamed by Russia over the 2014 downing of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 has killed himself, Ukrainian media report, quoting police.
Capt Vladyslav Voloshyn had called the Russian allegation a lie. Dutch investigators concluded that a Russian Buk missile had destroyed the Boeing 777 jet, killing 298 people.
Reports say Voloshyn shot himself at home in Mykolaiv, near the Black Sea.
Ukraine described him as a war hero."
The BBC seem to be unaware that the reported proof is from Uke media, who quote Uke police.
The BBC also seem to be unaware the other countries have/do own BUK missiles. Some including Ukraine, manufacture Buk missiles. The "Russian" missile shown as evidence, at the Dutch report event, was a 10+ years old model and was no longer in Russian military arsenal at the time of the plane cram due to all 10+ year old BUK missiles being scrapped/superceded by Russia.
However other countries are "highly likely" to utilise the old design and produce them, due to them not receiving newer models from Russia.
I posted no "evidence" merely a link.
Here's a 'link' you may find interesting. Join a few historical dots and the anti-Putin / Russia hysteria & lies become clear...

The history of the CIA meddling in and looting Russia during the Yeltsin period is not hidden and is easily searchable, it is Putin who banished the CIA and stopped the economic and political rape.
Consequently they've attacked him in every way possible but he stoicly toils on and has brought the country a prosperity previously unknown, the sanctions imposed have only made the Russians more resourceful and self sustaining. He has shown remarkable restraint and dignity, whereas lesser men would have taken the bait and bitten.
Nothing dangerous about Vladimir unless you believe the CIA mouthpieces, NYT/WaPo/Economist/CNN etc etc
Oh dear MSM creaking at the seams.
DNC Backpedals After Cyberattack "Hack" Was Actually A Security "Test"
"The DNC has backpedaled on a report by CNN that a recent "sophisticated attempt to hack into its voter database" had been discovered by San Francisco-based cybersecurity firm Lookout - whose co-founder John Hering contributed $30,700 to the DNC in June of 2016, along with $2,700 to Hillary Clinton the same day. It's not Lookout's fault, however, as they were simply "looking out" for the Democratic National Committee when they discovered a "simulated phishing test" they assumed was real.
And in a massive breakdown in communication before verifying facts, the DNC contacted the FBI and CNN about the hack - before thinking to speak with the outside contractor which runs the voter database, NGP VAN."

William Engdahl is one of the world’s top geopolitical analysts. His books – from Century of War to Full Spectrum Dominance – are absolutely essential to understand how the self-described exceptional nation created and expanded its global hegemony tentacles.
A measure of his influence is that as much as Engdahl may be dismissed or derided across the Beltway, the usual suspects do read him – and are incapable of finding conclusive arguments to prove him wrong.
This extensive interview by financial journalist Lars Schall is largely centered on Chapter 3 – The Rape of Russia – of Engdahl’s new book Manifest Destiny: Democracy as Cognitive Dissonance.
Here you will find all you need to know about the genesis of the 1990s Russian oligarchs; the dirty deals of the Yeltsin mafia; everything from the plunder of Soviet gold to the dodgy operations of the elder Bush’s brother; the incredible Yamashita gold story; the “privatization coupon” scam; the way the Harvard mafia run the Russian economy – all the way to Putin’s uphill battle throughout the 2000s to turn Russia into a functioning economy as NATO kept marching east.
As Engdahl notes, if we don’t understand what happened in Russia in the 1990s it’s absolutely impossible to contextualize the neocons and US Think Tankland’s deep hatred and 24/7 demonization campaign of Putin’s Russia.
So sit back, relax, enjoy the crash course and keep it as an essential reference you will find nowhere else.

From the OP, March 2014.
There is now presented evidence that the west has been lying all the time.
During the investigation Ukraine stated:
"In 2015, the Ukrainian authorities said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could not bring down the Malaysian Boeing because of the lack of Buks. However, last weekend the Ukrainian Buk SAM launcher crashed into the wall of a shopping center in Kiev in preparation for the parade.
The fact that the Ukrainian authorities are lying like they breathe is not news for a long time. Remember that one of the officials said 3 years ago, when Russia was charged with the destruction of the flight MH-17?
Adviser to the President of Ukraine, Igor Smeshko, at a conference on security in Brussels said that Ukraine sold the last missile complex Buk to Georgia long before the plane crash in Donbass, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
I quote, “As far as I know, Ukraine sold the last Buk to Georgia,” he said."
However, what was it that hit the wall of the shopping center in the Ukrainian capital on August 18 2018?

Surely no self respecting world leader does such irresponsible things?
He's dangerous if you dare to protest about your pension being robbed by him, apparently.

They later marched toward Red Square and the Kremlin, chanting "Down with the czar!" as they passed the building of the Federation Council, the upper house of parliament, and leisurely Muscovites enjoying a hot afternoon.

Popular opposition leader Yevgeny Roizman, who is a former mayor of Yekaterinburg, said on Twitter that a younger generation took the lead because middle-aged Russians were too scared to protest.

In fact, who wouldn't be moved to tears over such "dumbfounded" woman:Quote:
The plan calls for the eligibility age for retirement pensions to be raised by five years, to 65 for men and 60 for women. Opposition to it spans the political spectrum.

U.S. officials suspect Russia in mystery 'attacks' on diplomats in Cuba, China
The strong suspicion that Russia was behind the alleged attacks is backed by signals intelligence, meaning intercepted communications, say U.S. officials.
WASHINGTON — Intelligence agencies investigating mysterious "attacks" that led to brain injuries in U.S. personnel in Cuba and China consider Russia to be the main suspect, three U.S. officials and two others briefed on the investigation tell NBC News.
The suspicion that Russia is likely behind the alleged attacks is backed up by evidence from communications intercepts, known in the spy world as signals intelligence, amassed during a lengthy and ongoing investigation involving the FBI, the CIA and other U.S. agencies. The officials declined to elaborate on the nature of the intelligence.
The evidence is not yet conclusive enough, however, for the U.S. to formally assign blame to Moscow for incidents that started in late 2016 and have continued in 2018, causing a major rupture in U.S.-Cuba relations.
Since last year, the U.S. military has been working to reverse-engineer the weapon or weapons used to harm the diplomats, according to Trump administration officials, congressional aides and others briefed on the investigation, including by testing various devices on animals. As part of that effort, the U.S. has turned to the Air Force and its directed energy research program at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, where the military has giant lasers and advanced laboratories to test high-power electromagnetic weapons, including microwaves.
Although the U.S. believes sophisticated microwaves or another type of electromagnetic weapon were likely used on the U.S. government workers, they are also exploring the possibility that one or more additional technologies were also used, possibly in conjunction with microwaves, officials and others involved in the government's investigation say.
The U.S. has said 26 government workers were injured in unexplained attacks at their homes and hotels in Havana starting in late 2016, causing brain injuries, hearing loss and problems with cognition, balance, vision and hearing problems. Strange sounds heard by the workers initially led investigators to suspect a sonic weapon, but the FBI later determined sound waves by themselves couldn't have caused the injuries.
This year, one U.S. worker in China was diagnosed with similar symptoms after hearing bizarre sounds in Guangzhou, and more from China are being tested.

1,000 people arrested, spread over 12 time zones, in a country of 6,700,000 million square mile (the largest country in the world) and with 147,000,000 citizens.
Mountains and microbes spring to mind.
Arrested for not following agreed demonstration laws in Russia. As in many countries around the world, those that wish to "demonstrate" are required to obtain a permit from the police/courts and follow any agreed rules/routes.
As we are all aware some police shoot to kill for failing to stop walking, some push people over and kill them, some are kettled and denied their human rights, some are removed from buses on their way to a legally arranged demonstration and some men, women and children are massacred by military snipers.
Possibly the older people are aware of their very difficult lives over the past few decades and realise whatever the future brings, is far better than their own parents had.
The miniscule number of "youngsters" have no idea of hard times previous generations endured.
A reasonably, educated, perspective is required methinks. "Apparently" your source and yourself have neither.
