Former Hillary Clinton advisor sentenced to life in prison

"Gehad El-Haddad is an Egyptian who worked for the Clinton Foundation for 5 years (August 2007 – 2012). During his time with the Clinton Foundation he was responsible for the following (according to his Linkedin page):
    • Representing the foundation’s Clinton Climate Initiative in Egypt.
    • Setup the foundation’s office in Egypt and managed official registration.
    • Identified and developed program-based projects and delivery work plans.
    • Built and maintained a communications network with more than 50 public organizations.
    • Supervised policy-making workshops and presented foundation views.
    • Identified and developed 6 projects and their associated stakeholders.
    • Presented projects to high-level government officials.
    • Provided strategic advisory on Egypt to coordinate CCI’s efforts and resources.
    • Developed bi-lingual communication materials and project briefings.
After El-Haddad left the Clinton Foundation he went to work for the Egyptian government under Muhammad Morsi as the Islamist regime’s main point of contact with international media. As Morsi and his administration were thrown out of office and arrested in a coup by the Egyptian military, it was not a good career move. El-Haddad was detained by Egyptian police and charged with inciting protestors to violence after the fall of the Muslim Brotherhood government. He has now been sentenced to life in prison by an Egyptian court. He was one of 51 defendants though not one of the 14 that were sentenced to death in the trial.

His father, Dr. Essam el-Haddad is also in custody. The elder El-Haddad has connections to President Obama having worked with his elder half-brother Malik Obama at the Islamic Da’wa Organization of Sudan. Dr. El-Haddad also met with President Obama on December 4, 2012 when he was an advisor in the Morsi regime. The connection between El-Haddad and Hillary Clinton is another clue to the disastrous foreign policy during Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State in regards to Egypt and the Middle East".

    Heh...

Hillary Clinton may face a criminal investigation for her use of a private email server for official State Department business.

But a good many of them have since realised their idiocy in electing dubya twice, and the damage that it caused the USA at home & worldwide. I really can't see them making the same mistake again- at least not so soon. The GOP has got to change it's tune.

Criminal Inquiry Is Sought in Clinton Email Account

WASHINGTON — Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into whether sensitive government information was mishandled in connection with the personal email account Hillary Rodham Clinton used as secretary of state, senior government officials said Thursday.

The request follows an assessment in a June 29 memo by the inspectors general for the State Department and the intelligence agencies that Mrs. Clinton's private account contained "hundreds of potentially classified emails." The memo was written to Patrick F. Kennedy, the under secretary of state for management.

It is not clear if any of the information in the emails was marked as classified by the State Department when Mrs. Clinton sent or received them.

But since her use of a private email account for official State Department business was revealed in March, she has repeatedly said that she had no classified information on the account.

The initial revelation has been an issue in the early stages of her presidential campaign."

Whoops! Cought in another lie. Imagine that!

Hillary Clinton Emails Said to Contain Classified Data

WASHINGTON — Government investigators said Friday that they had discovered classified information on the private email account that Hillary Rodham Clinton used while secretary of state, stating unequivocally that those secrets never should have been stored outside of secure government computer systems.

Mrs. Clinton has said for months that she kept no classified information on the private server that she set up in her house so she would not have to carry both a personal phone and a work phone. Her campaign said Friday that any government secrets found on the server had been classified after the fact.

But the inspectors general of the State Department and the nation’s intelligence agencies said the information they found was classified when it was sent and remains so now. Information is considered classified if its disclosure would likely harm national security, and such information can be sent or stored only on computer networks with special safeguards.

“This classified information never should have been transmitted via an unclassified personal system,” Steve A. Linick, the State Department inspector general, said in a statement signed by him and I. Charles McCullough III, the inspector general for the intelligence community."

New York Times’ Claim Of Clinton ‘Scandal’ Quickly Proven To Be Crap

When the New York Times reported on July 23 that Hillary Clinton was the target of a new “criminal inquiry,” all other media took its word and jumped on the bandwagon. CNN. ABC. NBC. The Hill. CBS. Politico. And, of course, the Rupert Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal and Fox News.

Less than one day later, however, the public learns that NYT’s story was crap, and of the “let’s sell newspapers *and* trash a campaign, too!” variety.

    Here’s how it developed:

◾Late Thursday, the New York Times released a story titled “Criminal Inquiry Is Sought in Clinton Email Account.”
◾According to the article, two inspector generals asked the Dept. of Justice to launch this “criminal inquiry” because of “sensitive government information” they say Clinton included in personal emails.
◾The body of the story contrasts with its title, however (and with what might be a “let’s cover our ass” editing afterthought): “It is not clear if any of the information in the emails was marked as classified by the State Department when Mrs. Clinton sent or received them.”
◾In response to the article, House Speaker John Boehner and Rep. Trey Gowdy, the South Carolina Republican who chairs the never-ending Benghazi Committee, issued statements demanding Clinton turn over her personal email server for further investigation.
◾All other media fall for the claim hook, line, and sinker, and release their own versions of the story, citing New York Times as original source.

    But here’s what really happened:

◾After seeing New York Times’ story, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) began his own inquiry, contacting the senior Inspector General of the State Dept., Steve Linick.
◾Linick told Cummings that there is no “criminal inquiry” and that no investigation was ever requested.
◾The email review was part of an ongoing request of the Boehner-created and Republican-led Benghazi Committee (each claim of which has failed, finding no fault by any branch of the government, let alone former Sec. of State Clinton, regarding the 2012 attack on the U.S. Consul), Linick said.
◾According to Linick, the review found no violation in those emails. A couple contained information that was later classified, but that wasn’t classified at the time of those emails. As a result, no violation occurred.

After his quick confirmation of media crap, Cummings said on July 24:

“This is the latest example in a series of inaccurate leaks to generate false front-page headlines − only to be corrected later − and they have absolutely nothing to do with the attacks in Benghazi or protecting our diplomatic corps overseas.”

Since then, some of the media that fell for the unfounded angle of New York Times’ reporters Michael S. Schmidt and Matt Apuzzo have issued correcting clarifications. Lot o’ good it does after the fact, though, right?

Actually Rick Perry is making history by being the first candidate to run while under indictment.

But apparently he got off one of the charges by getting his mate to completely invalidate the law under which he was charged.

Don't hear anyone screaming "Fix!" at that one.

    What a surprise.
