Totally fooked up!

Sumter, SC (WLTX) - A kindergartner at Alice Drive Elementary in Sumter has been expelled from school for bringing a clear plastic gun to class.

Naomi McKinney, who's six-year-old, was expelled on January 7th. UPDATE: Girl Allowed Back in Class

The problem began when Naomi grabbed her brother's Airsoft gun to bring in for show and tell.

"I chose to bring it to school because I thought I could show my friends it because they might like seeing it," Naomi explains.

Her dad, Hank, says he and her mother didn't see what she choose to bring until getting a call from the school.

So some say she shouldn't have been "expelled". Suppose the alternative is leave a 6 year old alone with a realistic looking BB gun.

sounds about right that the kid got expelled.

even a toy gun in school is likely to freak people out these days.

parents should be punished as well

Stultification. The left wouldn't so hysterically oppose guns, if they understood their true purpose. Which is to get those stupid, lazy right-wing bums on foodstamps off the streets, and into the jails. Not banning guns is they way to go, but slapping all sorts of additional regulations on gun ownership, way beyond hillbilly's capacity to understand, let alone to abide.

This is what is generally missing amongst these gun related issues/discussions.

The item in question tends to be the focus.

The deeper cultural and instinctive mentality and mindset is largely forgotten as the true instigator.

kids that age bring allsorts to school. Dad's booze flask, mums Dildo, brothers Bong, yes and countless toy guns. Then there are the knifes and hammers and the like. Last week I had a kid in grade 1 bring in his composite bow and quiver. Did a great presentation!!!

Every situation is different, I always thought they paid people like me the big bucks so that we would make decisions, guess not any more.

Lucky she wasn't spotted by one of the newly trained school room soldiers. The justifiable response by one of these "experienced" hidden gun permit holders would be to put 6 rounds in her, before the girl can shoot 20 other kids.

This has been happening for over 10 years, JJ.

There are a few stories like this.

One elementary student, brought a very tiny plastic gun to school. It was literally smaller than the size of his thumb. It was from a small play action figure.

He was suspended for a day or a couple days.

The school's policy was "no tolerance."

I think this is lacking in common sense. Then again, we are talking about educrats and the Amiercan school system. Idiots.
