Khao Luang Cave - Petchaburi

Monday visited Khao Luang Cave in Petchaburi. Lots of monkeys, dirty filthy thieving beasts. Warnings Posted. Seems this group of monkeys a bit scared of humans. Tend to vacate when you get near them. Khao Luang attendants do a good bit of shooing.

Basically, it’s called a cave, but is more a cavern. Large and open and pretty well lit via some holes in the cave roof letting adequate sunlight in. Many dozens of Buddhas to worship.

A couple of attendants and cleaning folk. Enter via a well constructed concrete stairwell. Slippery footings inside the cave but the floors are reasonably level. Take a bit of care in how you place your feet and all is well.

Nice place to visit.
