As sad as it all is ( orphans, dead babies, limbs blown off, burns, etc.etc.etc.) it is through violent unrest that democracies are eventually forged, so best let them get on with it until a winner is declared.
Then, and only then, if the winner is not to the wests liking, should the west intervene.
I don't get it. Yep, poison gas sucks. But why is it the US's obligation to once again jump in. I didn't get it for Iraq, I don't get it for Syria, and whateverthefuck Afghanistan was meant to prove, that was doomed from the beginning. It's not like the US doesn't have several thousand vats of malodorous shit on its own shores to clean up. I don't get it.

Still waiting for a single shred of evidence from the combined might of the US & EU and their presstitutes that the Syrian Army committed this atrocity. Nothing, except vapid politicians saying "we have evidence". So show us some- anything at all. One single shred. Pleez, pretty pleez. Otherwise, it is as obvious as the lines on my palm they don't have any.
No one is denying that nerve gas was used, almost certainly sarin. Personally, I would not condemn limited strikes on military targets- probably focused on the so called 'Revolutionary Guard' if credible evidence was produced. Not that I think it would do any good or effect any outcomes, but thats not really the point- this is a war crime and a serious one at that. The perpetrators deserve to be punished.
But the evidence just keeps mounting that it was not the Syrian Army, while all we can jointly produce is rhetoric from sleazebags. I remind you again, not accompanied by one single shred of evidence. A summary-
-There is no common sense justification for the Syrian forces have resorted to using gas, quite the opposite. They are winning. Whooping ass actually, to use the vernacular.
-Domestic support for the rebellion has dropped precipitously. It is likely that most of the fighting is now being done by foreign jihadists, with foreign guns and foreign money. There is legitimate domestic opposition to the Assad regime- but they are not in with the jihadists. Syria is a country with several different faiths and sects, allowed to practise their religion freely. So you're winning (ne' won) the domestic battle of hearts and minds, as well as the military struggle, and now the government would gas it's own people? That surely doesn't smell right.
-Overwhelming evidence is that the rebels used sarin gas in the previous attacks. This from the UN. Yet now our dogs of war are saying the rebels don't have any? Piffle.
-The presstitutes say that the UN convoy sent to inspect was shot at in a 'buffer zone'. A bit late though- the area had already been described as rebel held territory.
-The attacks took place just a few km from where the UN Inspection team was already staying. Like, d'uhh- ya think the Syrian Army would be so compliant, so knuckleheaded? That sure doesn't pass any sniff test.
- Damascus is not a rebel stronghold, quite the opposite. The Syrian Army using chemical weapons in a suburb of the capitol, where a good amount of Syria's educated, affluent, secular etc live? it beggars belief.
-The missiles used can in no way be ascribed to the Syrian army, either. Call that a 'lack of' evidence then, I suppose the perpetrators would wish to cover their tracks.
- Our governments are already discounting the effects and validity of any UN investigation. Does that smell like an honest approach to you?
-And, most recently (an overnight discovery on my part) we have this-

Unless our lot are withholding evidence- and why would they?, it is pretty obvious where the weight of evidence lies at the moment. Every shred of available evidence, not to mention plain common sense and the facts on the ground, point to the rebels as being the perpetrators.
To say the least, this is rather important. Critically important. To use some mendacious excuse to bomb a foreign country is bad enough, but to do so to assist the perpetrators of a chemical attack is more than unconscionable, it is downright evil. We join Pol Pot, Adolf Hitler, Stalin, Saddam etc in historys shame gallery. That is not a place our people want to be. The vast majority of our people do not want this attack either- as in a massive majority. Permission or mandate is not being sought from the UN either. Our governments are totally out of control. Hate to say it (or even think about it), but should our people be quietly preparing for revolution? To bring a government down, all people have to do is literally nothing. Just sit down, and do absolutely nothing, a la' Gandhi. Some way must be found to get our governments reporting to the population again, anyway. This has gone beyond concerning.
