Urgent appeal for A Negative blood

An urgent appeal has been sent out for A Negative blood to help a Karon business-owner who was involved in a motorbike accident recently. Friend, Willy Kerr, reported that the injured man requires an operation and the island’s supplies of the rare A Negative blood are short. "If something goes wrong they do not have enough to operate on him and subsequently save his life. Last night he had a bit of a re-lapse and luckily enough there was enough blood to operate, if it happens again the doctors have said they do not have enough blood and for sure he will need more."

If you would like donate A Negative blood, please go to the Red Cross blood bank on the third floor of Wachira Hospital in Phuket City – or call Willy Kerr on 089 529 2050.
