On the corner of Soi 3 is an Adidas and Puma sports wear shop, this shop is a proper licensed sports clothing shop so don't expect pirate prices, opposite is a Top Charoen Opticians, this company has shops all over Thailand and are in the medium to high price bracket range for eye glasses or spectacles, still very cheap though compared to Europe or America.



The entrance to the Soi has a few souvenir stalls selling t shirts and swim wear, also has a second hand book stall so you can get something to read down on the beach, and also has a tattoo parlour (Gettin' ink done), also in Thailand you can get the more traditional type of tattoo done using bamboo, more on that here (My New Tatoo Thread).



Going down the Soi it interconnects with Soi 2 in a few places, it has about 7 guest houses so is probably a good place to look if it is a long weekend and other nicer hotels are booked solid.
