    Some difficult Questions.

I live east of Sukhumvit Rd, Pattaya, out towards Mabrachan.
Now east of Sukhumvit (the Darkside):-

1- Anyone know where to get Middle Eastern food? Kebabs, anything.

2- Any idea where to get Indian food?

And in Pattaya in general- does anyone know where I can find Colloidal Silver? It's a great anti-cancer agent.
Or if I can order in bulk, is there anywhere in Thailand I can buy Colloidal Silver?

Answers appreciated, any other questions welcome.

You can get colloidal silver here if you must.

Watch yourself with that shit, it's carcinogenic snake-oil., Quack medicine. There are good reasons why most civilized countries no longer allow it to be sold for therapeutic purposes.

"It is known - and acknowledged - that long-term use of colloidal silver or silver salts deposits metallic silver under the skin, turning people's skin an ashen-gray color, an affliction known as argyria (see reference below). Argyria is considered permanent. This is precisely the circumstance in which silver was a cancer-causing agent - implanted into the skin of animals it caused cancerous lesions. It also accumulates in internal organs, continually exposing the cells of those organs to silver, wreaking unknown havoc, and it is likely that it actually interferes with the body's normal immune processes." Silver - The Dark Side of a New Health Craze

Following an investigation by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the CMEC recommended that the NDPSC be advised that there are no current legitimate uses of colloidal silver and that the Surveillance Section of the TGA be requested to investigate the illegal availability of colloidal silver products because of concerns about their significant toxicity. The reasons for the recommendation were that
    • as part of an ongoing and comprehensive law enforcement and consumer education campaign begun in 1997, the Federal Trade Commission today announced a new round of enforcement actions against the fraudulent marketing of supplements and other health products on the Internet. The FTC's action is part of a coordinated effort with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada, and various state Attorneys General to crack down on unscrupulous marketers who use the Internet to prey on the sickest and most vulnerable consumers. The six new FTC enforcement actions target companies marketing a variety of devices, herbal products, and other dietary supplements to treat or cure cancer, HIV/AIDS, arthritis, hepatitis, Alzheimer's, diabetes and many other diseases. Among the many products for which unfounded claims were being made were a DHEA hormonal supplement, St. John's Wort, various multi-herbal supplements, colloidal silver and a variety of electrical therapy devices. The FTC's cases were also prompted by representations by some marketers that their products are safe when, in fact, there may be potentially dangerous interactions with other medications.vidence to support therapeutic claims made for colloidal silver products;
    • the risk to consumers of silver toxicity outweighs the value of trying an unsubstantiated treatment, and bacterial resistance to silver can occur; and
    • efforts should be made to curb the illegal availability of colloidal silver products, which is a significant public health issue.

In addition to announcing today's enforcement actions, the FTC will continue its education campaign to alert consumers to health fraud online. Because promoters of fraudulent healthcare products often use similar claims and practices to lure consumers into buying their products, the FTC advises consumers to be suspicious of:
    • Claims that the product is "natural" or "non-toxic," suggesting it does not have side effects. "Natural" or "non-toxic" does not necessarily mean safe. Some "natural" supplements contain potent stimulants; others, like St. John's Wort, can result in negative interactions with medicines.
    • Testimonials from people who claim amazing results. Testimonials often are undocumented and are not a substitute for scientific proof.
    • Claims that a product is a "scientific breakthrough," "miraculous cure," "secret ingredient" or "ancient remedy."
    • Claims that the product is an effective cure for a wide range of ailments. Operation Cure. All
    • Claims that use impressive-sounding medical terms.

    About Jonathan Campbell

As for colloidal silver, I like to have some around, which is not to say one should have too much of it, or take it in anything but colloidal form. I used to take about a teaspoonful every couple of days. Some aspects that are useful to me, no matter what your views of it's anti-carcinogen properties-
1- Purifying water, The best I know. Good when travelling in Isaan etc.
2- Stomach upsets. Including acid stomach.
3- Clean teeth and breath for a smoker.

I would agree you can have too much however- as one of the lighter 'heavy metals' your body can only excrete it slowly.
Thanks for the info- they sound like they might be a bit expensive though!
