The resort with the teak wood houses is coming along slowly but looking quite good, they have the water feature going in, hardly a lap pool but looks good enough to lounge about in, goes all the way back to the end of the resort land area.

I do like these little Thai teak wood houses, nice little one bedroomed affair, can't imagine it costs a lot to buy these.

We considered the possibility of having one of these built on what will shortly be our land. Unfortunately, I read somewhere on the Internet that the standard of workmanship was not of a universally high standard. This particular firm may be excellent but we have no knowledge of their work. So, we put our plans on hold.

ThaiLanna Home, buy your own (TEAK-wooden) house in Thailand!

There is still a strong possibility that any extension to the existing property (wife's mother's house) on the land would of similar wooden construction.
