Looks like Tilapia, or fresh water bream.

Yeah Its the typical Tilapia. Big one nonetheless. I am so used to wild fish fighting hard and takes some time to land. Fish here are lazy. Few flops and done. Clearly this was a fish some one released in the lake but it was wild and did get big.

I know crazy to have so many and many get tossed. Same in US BLD, they are expensive and are from Mexico. They are way better tasting here.

Friend of mine up in Mae Taeng had a Mango farm and they shipped 100 tons to the USA every year. He would show up at the house with a pickup bed full of beautiful culls which did not meet the shipping inspectors criteria. I swear they ended up in Costco dried Mangos as the ones from Thailand smell and taste just like his!
