While I do not eat these Noi Naa's , my wife and nieces love them. We have 2 trees that are loaded with them.

    ^ Custard apples. Yuck.

What’s this? I see a few leaves on the manicured lawn. Did you place them there to give your place the more “lived in” look Tax was missing?

Yeah I can't stand them either MK.

Shhhhh. I wanted to see if Tax noticed it. I shook the tree before the pic.

The dirty dishes in the sink and piss on the toilet seat was an odd response. But again maybe Tax has prostrate problems and dribbles on the seat and doesn't clean it up and that makes him feel "homey" .

That edging is fucking neurotic. Presumably you instruct some coolie or other to do it albeit under close supervision. Thai wouldn’t be doing that ordinarily…..” why you do, it come back five day, na “

You got OCD or what ?

You Brits and the lack of proper tooling to do the job right and moreover fast and quick. You know the weed whacker has an edge functionality so I zip along the cement before I mow. Takes me maybe....15 seconds. I think I have 15 seconds to spare in a day. Haha

And no SA, I do not have a gardener. I do all the work myself and quite enjoy it. I can whip out that mow job front and back in 30 minutes tops. Again, I think I have 30 minutes I can spare to keep the yard.

An no on OCD. Just because someone has the proper tools and the time to keep his yard up does not make one have OCD. It just means the individual isn't a lazy ass. I prefer to be outside around the property, enjoying the sun and weather and the dogs. Of course let's be honest, you live in a condo, you don't have a piece of land or yard. You know they say having Dogs as pets and a yard to upkeep relieves stress. Condo and Apartment living sadly do the opposite.

    Yeah but nah.

Nobody from the developed world above 30 years old generally and genuinely prefers living in a box to living on the ground.

For me it's whatever works but I am with Cyrille a bit on this. Apartment Condo living is great early on. Moving around for School, easy to pack and move when a new position is secured. Then as we get more refined and relax, having a house with a bit of land is what most desire. Maybe....and only maybe when you hit some old age and you are incapable of doing much then a small box works. Like a senior citizen joint where you shuffle on out to the community sitting area and play board games. Again to each their own. I need open space to air it out and be outside. I am maybe in my house for 20 minutes during the day then at dark, call it a night and go load a movie or watch a bit of sports. One thing about owning some land, it's different every day.

I haven’t had a garden for nigh on 30 years. Last house I owned I dumped several tons of stones on the back lot and had plans to construct a Jap water garden with ornamental trees but lost interest.
The need for a dog is simply displacement activity compensating for some inadequacy or other in which you are reinforcing the belief you are not a futile blob awaiting conversion into fertiliser.

No. Children are a bit like illusions, best dispelled and forgotten. I think the worst thing I see in a parent’s eye is when they accept their offspring is a bitter disappointment and quite worthless. I have never bought into that lottery.

Once every 5-7 days I cook and that's indoors.

Apart from that, even on the patch we live on, this is how I am too.

It's just great here at 'ton yen' yet again.

Sadly SA, you probably missed out on one of the best things in life. I have 2 absolutely wonderful daughters. Raising them, showing them things, traveling, teaching them values and integrity. The laughs and the tears at various moments they accomplish various pinnacles or achievements. This might explain why you are so miserable and confine yourself to living in a condo. I mean in the big picture, what are you living for? Doesn't sound like much. My youngest saves lives in the ER Trauma center. We talk and she tells me about her day. It grounds me sometimes to think that little peanut that I held when she took her first breath and opened her eyes is my little girl who is now a doctor.

I am up at 5:30ish every morning, I cruise on downstairs and let the dogs out of the kennel and they run to find the ball to toss. They blaze around the place chasing any cat that might be sitting on the fence. Then I go on about my day and every day is different. Sometimes I have work calls early or late( depends on what continent), Could be work around the place, could be a project in the shop, could be I wash my truck, go on a moto or bike ride, take a walk to the market or go into the city for some lunch with my wife and pick up a few things. I usually call it about 7pm or so. Its funny in that I have a health app that tracks my steps and all the other activities. I avg >17,500 steps every day. Its nice to be outside. I could never imagine being trapped in a condo or apartment all day and my only source of activity is walking to the window to look outside. It might explain why many jump. Honestly, I would likely lose my mind in a short time. Even when I lived in a really nice place in BKK for work and another in Jomtiem, It was still a box and not a lot to do but sit and stare.

    Kids are not for everybody.

An EU survey found, that folks without children are slightly more happy than people with.

And yes; As a parent,I understand that.

Indeed, I cherished a similar moment when I shagged a nurse.

The thing is sport, I’m not unhappy and enjoy a reasonable lifestyle in which I usually view the next day with the passing hope it might offer more optimism than the last. The world is regressing and there it is, to think otherwise is moronic. But yes, sometimes I do descend into a gloom but with the Ukraine war I’ve found a wonderful pick me up tonic that raises spirits. I go to Youtube and catch up with events by viewing the many clips from the Ukrainian army PR and news agencies showing the Russian scum getting their arses handed to them in glorious colour. Perks me up no end. All those Russkies getting blown to smithereens and shot to pieces in their dugouts like rats truly does restore one’s belief there is natural justice.

Beats gardening any day of the week.
