Nightlife in Roi Et - is there any?

Hi all,

I'm heading to Roi Et for a couple of weeks in November and don't want to sit around the house all day every day.

Where's the best place for a few beers and a bite to eat?

Judging from the response I'd say don't go. I wouldn't worry about it, if you have to go. There's always some farang around to go look up and have a chat where ever you go.

Depends what you're looking for. There's some amazing Thai night clubs with great music. Lots of nice Thai BBQ spots. Very clean and cheap. Just offer some locals a free night out and you'll be mobbed. There's a few nice Farang places. The White Elephant restaurant is excellent, and there's a nice little Pizza place on the lake (101 Pizza). I have a great time when I visit Roi-Et. Very friendly locals. Have fun.

Isaan people some of the happiest and happy go lucky people you ever want to meet. Go have a great time.

I've been to Isaan a few times but never stayed in Roi Et

I second the White Elephant, Good German Food and Hospitality / just over the Klong, other then the Big Issan style Bar-be-cues and Dancing Girls [ I cant remember more then that? ]
