Thanks guys, lotsa good info and topped by being undercharged at my hotel...must be a Songkran first! Will try a pub, the night bazaar and then find a quiet place to chill out before the zoo (baah!) tomorrow.
I attempted to go out on my bicycle to have some beers and maybe some dinner, but the madness continues and I don't feel like getting wet and powdered, so I'm having a quiet night in. Everyone's gone so it's only me and Mr. Chang.
Where are you staying, Keda?
Well don't forget to take some piccies Keda of the hotel aswell
Keda, don't bother telling AC where you are as he won't go there or meet you anywhere you suggest to meet up. He seems like a very nice person but damn it's hard to get any kind of one on one meeting with the guy. Of couse it could be that I'm just not a person he wants to associate with. Oh well, I enjoy the orchid I bought for the bugger and it's growing well in my yard.

I'm a recluse. I'm ashamed of it. But I can't do anything about it.
I'm glad you're enjoying the orchid Eliminator.
I don't associate with anyone. I wish I could, but I can't.
It's like asking me to get water from the moon. I'd love to be able to, but I can't.
I'm sorry to have been such a disappointment.
Good for you. Man I look forward to the day I can do the same . Anyway thanks for the thread and pics ... they really have made my day !Originally Posted by Anonymous Coward

hey anon. c.
great pictures you posted recently.
if you are recluse there is no shame there, i go to thailand every 3 months
and your pics. made me 'homesick'.
thanks.
AC, it doesn't matter really and I only meant it as a joke. I guess I'm the opposite of you as I like to meet new people and can't stay by myself. Maybe we'll meet another time when you're on one of your rides and I'm back up that way.
Just back, did the zoo bit to get away from the mundane squirting by Pattaya standards, where we were accosted a few times by water wielders that must've sneaked by security but did spot negotiations to come away with wet hands, made our own good time there to make up for the vast number of deer compensating for the lack of real animals, then back for a bite at some place called the Mall which we then explored another 3 hours at a surprisingly fair 1k per hour till the retards packed off home by which time it was pissing down anyway so felt safe to get a tuktuk to the hotel (Sripatana) not far from the Leb restaurant mentioned earlier. A victorious dry day and crawing was well in effect as I got dun by the cucksockers stationed by the hotel gate.
Sorry not too many pics because cam got knackered early on I think at Khoa Yai so was a hit 'n miss affair with more misses.
Tomorrow will head for Ayuthaya, then an amble via bkk for pty by week's end.
I was at The Mall today as well. Ms. AC dropped me off on the way to work so I avoided the water play. The place was surprisingly busy. I figured everyone would either have a hangover or be out for day three.Originally Posted by keda
Anyway I did some shopping, pigged out at Swensens (Choco Malt Fantasy?) and took a bus home.
But, damn, no motorcycle taxis at the bus stop so I started to walk. Barely missed getting drenched by a couple of kids who were still at it for the third day.
And, then, miracle. A couple of guys on a Honda Wave picked me up and dropped me off at home enabling me to avoid a hot kilometer walk.
The rain didn't start until I was well through the front door.
Sorry about the zoo, Keda. But think of this. The zoo on Saipan actually has a chicken in a cage.
Here you go, everything you need to know about Ayutthaya Hotels Guesthouses things to do and see
Quiet on the roads this morning except for the main highway. Quite a bit of traffic headed for Bangkok and an endless stream of empty buses headed up-country.
What's with the space between the last word and the question mark? My Mom recently started doing this as well. She's 80 so I can forgive the typographical eccentricity; but I'm wondering if there's been a change in style of which I have yet to be made aware?Originally Posted by kingwillyhggtb

It's not me so much as it is the camera. I can politely ask the water throwers to be careful, but the rain seems to do what it wants....Originally Posted by kingwillyhggtb
