Alphagirl - stay far away from Pattaya - the place is truly a shithole, and you are more likely to be drugged, robbed or killed there than anywhere else in Thailand - perhaps with the exception of Phuket or Samui. The place attracts the absolute bottom sludge of both Thai society and western tourists.

Thailand has so much more to offer.

I agree with what he says.

Much much better places to go.....we will be in Khao Yai around then if you're interested and when you get here you get a little horny and feel a little jiggy jig comin on.....

But stay away from Pattaya....if it was full of arseholes but a nice place with lots to see and do, I would say go, but it ain't full of nice things to see and do unless you are one of us or you're a lesbian.....and its full of arseholes.

First of all its true. Timber was supposed to be able take off and tour SE Asia with me. Unfortunately he cannot do this. So what am I supposed to do sit in Timba's for three weeks? I think not, I think I'll see what I want to see, and keep my wits about me while I do it. Yes, I am a little nervous about it. Of course! However, I'm not some silly girl that trust any Joe Schmoe. I would not bother with Pattaya, I've heard nothing good about it, so no worries there.
