Hi guys and gals,
new to the forum but not to Thailand, married and living in Khon Kaen for about the last six years, before that lived in Phuket for a number of years.

Keen golfer and fisherman, currently working in Georgia (Ex-USSR) on a 4 week on 4 week off rotation.

Look forward to contributing to the board

I just read on another forum that there are now many more farangs in kk than ever before. Is this true, and is it a good place to live?

Rigger,
play normally at the army base next to the airport and sometimes up at Ubol Rat Dam, cannot even ride a motorbike

my house is located right on a small lake on the road up to the army base, nice sized fish and many species.

Let us know when you are home and we will hook up for a beer if you want as I spend week days in Khon kean while the kids are at school and the weekends in Nongbaulamphu
If you hang around the bars a bit with all the drunk old fokers I most probably met you already as I first lived in KK about 5 years ago

yeah have drunk in all of them quite regular, mostly now Juniors Bar, will more than likely know you...I am of Scottish descent and live out near airport...age 41.
