Who can say if it will become a classic like the original 300SL but I like it.

Ant buy the convetible! Same body but no roof. Branded the poor man's alternative.

I agree with the sentiment that the 300SL's the better looking one. Doubt it will ever be beat for styling and class actually, but the new one is a good modern version I reckon.

Great thanks KW. Restoration's at snails pace though, but that will change soon. Hope to have it completed Feb or March next year.

Apparently it has some quick-release/detach system for the doors for just such an event.

The first Mercedes designed in-house by the AMG division incidentally.

Never going to be able to afford one what with working in that hotel as a restroom valet, don't pay that much and the big spenders are not out til late and he goes home and off the net about 1800.

Be proud of whatever you do for work as someone has to do it or the world would not be complete. Even if you pick up trash, or clean behind others etc. be proud that you are doing something for society and what you do can and does make a difference.

Never let others try and belittle you, just laugh it off and know that there are others who respect whatever you do for an occupation in life.

Take one day at a time and just know you have and will make a difference.

Somewhere in the neighbourhood of 500,000 NZ Pesos apparently. Dunno what that converts to in real money, around US$300 - 400,000 maybe?

Not bad in 'supercar' terms really but an awful lot of 10Bht. coins in the piggybank!
